I have been using a joye 510 with either 18mg or 24mg. Most of the time I have needed 24 mg and go back and
forth between the two. Today I got my Provari and I love it and the juice I'm using but every time I take
a drag from it I get dizzy. I can only take about 1 drag an hour. I have been only using 18mg today. I don't have any 12mg juice and I don't have and pg/vg juice. I do have vodka I use for cleaning and drying attys but no distilled water. Can I use vodka and or water to dilute it? I have the ejuice program and I have been playing with so I know how to use it.
I keep wanting to vape because I have a hand to mouth addiction. If I order something online it will take
three days. I am using a vi vi nova 2.5.

The e juice me up program I'm guessing your referring to is really for creating juice from scratch, not for changing an existing liquid into something else. (I am currently working on a software for this purpose).

It would probably be best to get some PG or VG to dilute it will. Keep in mind it will dilute not only the nic strength but also the flavorings.

It is likely that you could buy pg or vg locally at maybe a drug store or maybe walmart. Make sure it is a pure USP food grade.

Hi Readfreak, Do you have any Walgreens, Kmart, or Walmart stores nearby?
If so Then you will want to run out and ask fore some Vegetable Glycerine. It normally Is found in walmart near the skin care section. Its used as a skin humectant. Look for the USP designation on the bottle. It should say something like pure food grade usp..... with that and your vodka you should be able to mix a couple of strengths to test on your new device. Some drugstores will have Propylene Glycol on hand but its much more common to find VG local than PG at least around me.

Heres the program I use for mixing e-Liquid Calculator and for the ratio of vodka to VG i Would suggest starting at 1% and go up fom there so that you dont over thin the final mix. Hope this gets you vaping as soon as possible. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

understand that you do not have any lower nic but 18 or 24mg not suitable for you. Like Mroutlaw mention try lower down the voltage. I got a friend that having the same issue, i don't recommend you continue to vape on that. If you have a PG or VG with 0 nic's and you may lower down the nic's. You also can go to the ecig calc at E-Liquid Calculator - An easy way to mix your own E-Liquid to lower down the nic. Distilled water is only for making a thick just to be thinner. Hope this help..

readfreak, first off stop vaping the ProVary. If you are getting dizzy from one drag, something is wrong and could be dangerous.

I doubt the ProVary should make this much difference to the effect you are getting from vaping. You say you are using 18 mg juice and I believe this is not an issue. I am not a doctor - just giving my uneducated opinion. If I were you and I was getting dizzy from what you are doing I would stop and see a doctor before continuing. Safety is always the first concern for me. Beter safe than sorry!!

Not sure about the "dizzy" thing. Might be a symptom of over nic'ing or reaction to PG, but one hit shouldn't be doing that. What resistance carto/atty are you using and at what voltage?

I keep a bottle of 100%VG and add a drop or two to some juices to mellow them out. I use "Pure Glycerin USP" from CVS Pharmacy ($5 for 6oz, in the cosmetics area of my local store).I use carto tanks, so just add in during refills and shake it up. If your using regular cartomizer might be easiest to get some 3.5ml bottles (or clean out some sample bottles if you have any) instead of mixing big batches till your sure what works best for you. I wouldn't add the vodka, as it makes the throat hit too strong for me (I like it smooooooth).

Edit a 2.4ohm head at 4.6v is kicking out just under 9watts. Fairly warm, but not over the top. 4.3 puts you right around 8 watts which most consider a nice vape. Did you check the resistance of the tank? Most listed resistances are within +/- 0.2 ohm which can make a difference.

Hi Read, Just to clarify things a little . Your Joye 510 was a whole whopping 3.4volts. The correct carto for the joye would be a 3ohm. Totaling a whopping 3.8 watts. Even with a low ohm carto of 2ohms you where making 5.7watts.
Your Provari at 4volts, with the 2.4 ohm vivi is making ~6.7 watts of output, providing you with the (efficient) capability of vaporizing nearly double what the stock joye was capable of in its original condition. Combine that with the fact that your 510 was using a bottom coil arrangement and the vivi uses a top coil you are likely over doing it up at 24Mg. Cut that liquid down a little and you will find it to be a whole different experience.

Ok I have lowered the voltage quite a bit and that is helping. I was using a 510 joye mini and chain vaping at 24mgs
most of the time and didn't get dizzy. But I wasn't getting much vapor on it either. now I'm using the vivi nova 2.5 with
the 2.4 ohm head and was vaping at 4.6. I turned it down to 4.0 and that is helping.

Good to hear you are doing better now! When I heard 'dizzy after one drag' I got worried about you.

you probably need a lower nic, but lowering the voltage will help until you do. If I remember right, the joye mini is only 3.4v and you were running the provari at 4.6. That double the watts. You went from 4.82watts to 8.82 watts. No wonder its hitting you harder. You are getting a ton more vapor. I would even try lowering to 3.8. Thats still 2 more watts than before.
