Lots of complaints with similar issues. Sounds like it got too hot from chain vaping, or a sensor is shot.
GV FAQ says "You need to take out the batteries (if it is replaceable) and let it sit for 30 minutes. If your device becomes too hot that you can't touch it, or if the mod keeps on showing overheat protection even if it is not hot, please (contact us)."

Seems to be some sort of weird pod/cartridge coil hybrid. basically a cartridge system that doesn’t use 510. Looks small. Might have 18650s but a LiPo is more likely.

Might not be as expensive as a regular pod system for upkeep though. Depends on what stuff costs
