I need some help finding a good wire to make coils.

I've been using a 26 gauge wire that I got from a vape shop, I need to get some more and I am looking to buy it online, the vape shop will only give me a foot or so at a time. anybody have any suggestions?

I usually get mine from Temco (link) but you can also buy from amazon or ebay. I'd recommend Kanthal A1, in whatever gauge you prefer. It's quite cheap direct from Temco.

I would definitely buy online, you can get tons of the stuff for a little bit of nothing. I picked up a 100ft roll of 28g on amazon for like 6 bucks.

As others have stated, Ebay and Temco seem like good options as well. I've looked at Temco before and it seems like they have more gauge choices than the others (like 27g, 29g, etc), idk if you'd be interested in that, but it's good to have options

I used to get my Kanthal A-1 from Temco, but recently discovered that the Pure Atomist wire from Amazon is even cheaper. Great stuff, works perfectly.

Just buy a honking 250 or 500 ft roll from Temco and be done.

I got some bum wire off eBay once and my usual coil that should have been 1.3 ohm could range any where .9 to 1.2 but the wire micrometered out the correct diameter.

I will only use Temco wire now and buy direct (though I may never need to order again this lifetime)

Sounds like you might have gotten nichrome instead of kanthal.

I haven't used Temco yet, but got some lightning vapes 30g from amazon and it's been really good. Will likely go to temco when I need to reorder.

I think I have 4 different types of wire, I usually get whatever is cheapest on amazon for A-1 kanthal in the gauge I want. Temco and LV are very good and legit. I know there are coupon codes for LV too if you do some searching.
