So vaping here in Puerto Rico is relativley just taking off as I bought my kits and alot of my friends became interested in them (ego setups). They are asking me to get them or lead them where to get the kits. Now my issue is that I have to explain everything that goes along with owning a kit specially when it comes to atty's, juice duration of batteries, extra expenses and so on. I know I have done my homework and understand what I need and when I need it. Just don't want them to think that you buy a kit and juice and thats it. Don't know if I should just recommend to go with the smaller simpler ecigs. Hell maybe I'll open my own business here...any taker (need a partner). So shoot with with your valuable knowledge.
Anything advice is welcome.

I'd point them in the direction of Smokeless Image http://smokelessimage.com/. They are who I started out with one of their starter kits, and glad I did. Very reputable company with quality hardware, excellent customer support, and fast delivery. Their company tends to cater primarily to beginners (cigarette look-alikes), but they also have a mid-level, Ego sized lineup called the Volt X2.

They have an extremely active forum here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/smokeless-image/ where customers help each other out and is sort of an extended family group. Imagine is a company rep who seems to be on often to give advice and answer questions. It's sort of the best of the best.

Well, let's see. There are a few options available to you.

You could simply say: 'Check out the ECF forum'.
You could write down everything you think they would need to know on paper, and make copies.:D

If the problem is that you don't know which one to recommend, are you letting them try your PV's? That way you could kinda get a feel for what they want. Or even just showing them the different PV's, with an explaination of each, would be helpful.

I'd love to come to Puerto Rico!! But alas, I doubt my hubby would love it!

I have let my friends use my pv's and they love them and I have also refered them to ecf to learn the basics but I haven't done the list thing so that might be a route to go.

Yeah, a list would allow them to have something on paper, so they don't get info-overload, and they could refer back to it. It would also insure you don't forget to tell them something. I'd put down things like:

Expected battery life for unit. Battery charging safety. What mAh rating is the battery, and what mAh has to do with longivity. What ohms resistance is, and which is best for the unit. Where they can buy unit (giving website addresses) Where they can buy juice. What PG and VG stand for and their attributes. Maybe writing down websites where they can watch video reviews and how to do things like filling cartomizers etc. What delivery systems are acceptable for given device. These seem to be the most frequently asked questions around here.

Good luck! Before you know it, you'll have all kinds of people there vaping. And you'll have LOTS of friends!

I have experience anything negative in fact most smokers come to ask about it because they see you vaping in their favorite hang outs and such. I work for the federal gov. and asked my boss about it and they where ok with it. Hit me up if you ever plan to get here. There is actually a supplier here the one and only but I am interested in getting suppliers and buying juice not for competition but to have different products. Here they sell blu cigs at wallgreens but they dont sell the kits "Puerto Rico Vapers" sell the ego c mainly and Lavatubes plus Artisan juice from Joe Castro with their private label. (really good) look them up in FB.

Good to hear that it's gaining ground. I don't know when I will be back to PR, I just know I will.
