I need to add nicotine to my juice but don't want to lose the flavor of the juice

I have several really good juices that the vendor only offered up to 1.8 on the nic.

I was thinking:

1. Buy pre-made nic mixed with pg or vg and adding to my ready made juice or

2. Buy straight nic juice and add directly to my ready made juice.

Can anyone advise me on which option would be more likely to not ruin original flavor or if you have better options and where I can buy the supplies?

Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions!

Ooops. just realized that I prolly don't want work with straight nic. I hear it's quite difficult to work with and is quite toxic. My question still remains but has changed a bit.

I guess higher nic content, 5.4 vs 3.6? Which of these will interfere less with flavor?

P.S. Ideally I like 2.4 nic

1. I don't understand this question. All commonly supplied NIC is mixed with PG or VG as a carrier. 100% NIC is very dangerous and lethal in very small amounts. I wouldn't even know where to get a hold of it (although I'm sure I could find out).

2. Same as above. The highest strength commonly available is 100mg NIC usually in your choice of PG or VG (or sometimes in a mix of the two).
If you were to buy 100mg NIC in your choice of carrier (50/50 would be a pretty good compromise) you could add .789ml of that to 10ml of your 18mg juice to get you to 24mg. Of course your final juice would be about 8% weaker. You can't get something for nothing! :) In the end you would have 10.789ml of 24mg juice.

Get a ejuice calculator and you can plug in whatever volumes you have.

Also be very careful with 100mg NIC base. Gloves, eye protection, and a cleanup plan are essential. Also keep it locked away so no one can get a hold of it by mistake, especially little ones.

Hope this helps. If you have any more questions please post them. 100mg NIC is nothing to play around with.

First let's get on the same page.

When you say 1.8 you're meaning 1.8% NIC. It's the same thing as when I say 18mg (18mg per ml). Those are both the same. I just find it easier to do e-liquid calculations in my head if I think of it as mg per ml instead of straight percentage.

So you're asking about 36mg and 54mg bases. (3.6% and 5.4% for you :)) BTW.. 100mg NIC is 10.0 or 10%, make sense?

So if you went with 54mg base you would have to add more than twice as much as in the example I gave above which means your flavor strength would go down by ~20%.

Hopefully you can see the two examples below. The one on the left is for 100mg base added to your juice. The one on the right is calculated with 54mg base. (Click on them to make slightly bigger)

As you can see, if you want to keep as much of the flavor strength of your current juice, you want to add as little NIC base as possible. This means adding the highest NIC percentage (or mg per ml) you're comfortable with.

It's hard to explain but hopefully this helps a bit. I'd suggest getting a calculator (I like hotrod's calculator because I mix by weight) and play with it. I'm sure you'll "get it" quickly.

If you need any more clarification don't hesitate to ask. Better to be safe than sorry. :)
