Wow! I thought I was bad. I love shopping online and I see something daily that I want to buy but I've been exercising restraint because the thought of paying multiple shipping charges irritates me. I try to wait until I absolutely need an item and then I go to town!

I have changed to this style too.

Gave all my initial eGo stuff to my mum. She's almost off deathsticks.

Probably spent $800 in a month finding what I like and really have settled on my favorite, a 15W VV/VW Beyond Vape Spire. The eVic is too underpowered for me. I like having the second APV an iTaste 134 and keep a different tank and juice on that one, but the Spire is my daily.

I went tank crazy for a bit, but it helped me figure out what I like and don't like. I don't regret it. And shopping is fun when its $20 here or there once you have the APVs you want. There are certainly far more expensive hobbies and vices. As long as you're not just shopping and shelving stuff, ie: shopping for the sake of shopping - if thats the case, its a whole other problem than getting off deathsticks.

Oh my goodness! I totally understand this. The first month was the most expensive. I wanted to try all the new flavors and have all the pretty tips and matching tanks. Now, I have calmed down and I am slowly burning through the stockpile I created. I do find myself going back to my local shop for my staple flavors though. I can't seem to break free from a few of them. They are my muses, if you will.

I just started vaping a few days ago using an Ego battery with a CE4 clearomizer. The next day I went back to the cigarette outlet and bought myself another kit to have a backup battery. Then yesterday, after doing a LOT of research, I went online and bought a starter kit which included 2 1300mAh vision spinner batteries, 2 Kanger mini protank II's plus I added 2 more mini protanks for backups. Today I went and bought myself a vaultz med case to keep everything in, 2 keychain sleeves, and about 135 total ml of juice in different flavors and strengths. Think I have enough? LOL This could become a problem ;) Does my setup sound good??? Did I make good choices at least?

On the bright side, I am buying for 2 people. My husband said when my new kit comes in, he will use the one I have now for himself. He tried it and had given me an attitude when I just asked him to try it, but he admitted after I made my orders that "It wasn't that bad". I don't know if he will make the switch completely, but its a start.

If you are not tempted by rebuilding low ohm coils, then you are just fine. Until then the protank and ego twist is really good vaping kit. :)

Friends keep telling me how much money I'm saving by not smoking. I just smile and agree while thinking…If only you knew! At this point I'll break even in about a year. BUT…worth every dime.

Hehe true story. Half a year ago i was at the same point of getting many new hardware and spending many euros. But now when i need only juice, the cost for vaping about 3mls a days went down to 0.5 eur a day!!!! :) DIY juice is really good and cheap and stock lasts quite a while. :vapor:

Im new here and to vaping... glad to see i'm not the only one buying crazy amounts of products at the beginning. How long did it take the more experienced vapers to move on and upgrade your equipment? I'm on a eGo twist with a Kanger mini protank II and already realizing that I need to up my game here. Its been two months but i'm still at a loss as to what to get started on. That's what brought me here is to try and research rebuildable mods and what not... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

may 2013 I started vaping with ego and ce4
august 2013 I got an svd and protank1/evod/iclear16,30 and cobra genesis&stuff like wire, mesh
october 2013 Bought Rsst, different awg wire (29 and 30 awg)
november 2013 Bought Nemesis clone, protank2, Ego Twist
january 2014 Kayfun 3.1 clone and Kick and sold twist, protank2, iclear30

Using Nemy with kick since as my daily for home and on the go device. I am really happy with the performance and size! Svd is still in use at home and for checking ohms on my new builds.

Rebuilding became so easy with kayfun and cotton so if you want to upgrade you vaping gear and spend some money, spend it well! You are gonna get use to the size of kayfun, because it vapes just wonderfully!!! Cant get any better at the moment...
