I need your help

I need to put this switch back together. I lost the original cclip? So the guy sent me some spares. What tool would I need or how do I attach this clip?

The spring and button go through the base and locking ring then you fix it with the cclip. How would I do it? Thank you

Either a snapring plier set to open or a medium sized screwdriver.
You need to open the snapring enough to fit over the shaft and lock into the machined slot on the shaft. Stick a screwdriver in, twist it to widen (open) it, and slide it down to the groove. It will twist using the screwdriver, get one side in the groove then gently push the higher side into the groove to lock it into the groove.
