My oldest grandson turns 17 today (April 2) I still see him as a baby even though he is taller then me! Time flys.

How can this cutie who is playing peek a boo with me,

What a handsome lad, MK!! BUT YIKES...reminded me my grandson turns 14 in May! Where does the time go???? :(

And while we're on the subject of boys, thought I'd throw this out to the ladies...

My grandson refuses to wear shorts to school because he has hairy legs!!! His really are quite hairy, but I don't know if they are more than the other 8th grade boys'. He told his Mom that the other boys shave their legs!!! Has anyone heard of this? I'm having a hard time believing it.

That's his 18 going on 19 year old 'friend". She takes him out for sushi.
All he does is play baseball. He is on the varsity and Jr. varsity team in his high school. he also plays summer league. Hopefully he will be scouted for College. he has had several scouts come to his games.
One year he blew out his arm and had to lay off playing..so what did he do? Coached tee ball!
I am sure he will be pleased an olympic hopeful has her eye on him. I just won't mention which year she may be seen competing in!

Nope..I love both my grandboys like crazy!
The 17 year old is such a sweet loving person. I am sure he can give my daughter and his dad fits..but with me he is just my buddy. he volunteers to help at at my charity dance and just loves hanging out with me. The ladies ask if he hates the music (60's) and he will rattle off some oldies for them that he likes. He does mix well with any age group and isn't at all shy.
The little grandson who is 10 is still in the shy stage. But he has a brain 3 sizes too big. He just amazes me with his knowledge. Then he will be a 10 year old a second later..makes my head spin!
We have plans to go see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in June!
I just can't wait..we have been going to the movies to see them ever year since he has been old enough. We read the books and Play HP 'Quotes" with each other over the phone.
I love being a Grandma!

Wow, he looks so grown up! Very handsome!

My baby boy just turned 17 on Sunday and he still looks like a kid to me. Although he says his friends call him "cougar bait" because his friend's mother gushes over him so much. But with a face full of acne, a little peach fuzz and some baby fat, even at almost 6 feet, he looks 14 to me, lol!
