Thanks!

I think half of my brain has wanted to quit for a long, long time but the other half just wasn't having any of it. I absolutely loved smoking. I don't drink or use drugs, so I always thought of it as my one guilty pleasure. vaping affords me with all the pleasure that smoking provided and has the added benefit of eliminating the guilt! After seeing my transformation, my girlfriend has joined me and she's been smoke-free for over a week now. She's in her mid-30's and has smoked on and off most of her adult life. I've also sent 2 buddies from work to our local shop and a third is extremely interested. He keeps the little drip-tip condom I gave him in his pocket for when he runs into me outside on "smoke" breaks so he can sample whatever I'm vaping... it's really hilarious. I might give him one of my ego batts when my second Spinner arrives this week. Yes, I'm already testing out the VV waters. Not shopping for mods just yet, though... baby steps... lol

Seems as though RJ Reynolds is losing customers by the day down here in the heart of tobacco country (with Chimney34 right there on the front lines, you go!). I love it!

Don't forget Philip Morris shut down in 2009 over in Concord. We're making a dent. Go us....

Congrats and welcome to the wonderful World of Vaping!! And, it is surprising though, how many stories like your there are out there... Mine follows yours closely, though I didn't quite that first day... I did within 5 days though and I'm not sure, for sure, when I actually did because I didn't realize I had until my wife mentioned to me that she hadn't seen me with a cigarette in my hand for at least a couple of days... :)

Yeah, my girlfriend tried to take her time with it. She had two cigs the first day she got her PV kit. In the evening on the second day, she lit her first one of the night, took one drag, and immediately stubbed it out. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "That does NOT taste like pomegranates."

(she really loves the pomegranate lol)

Congrats and welcome to the world of vaping! Always nice to see new vapors, especially ones that use the same retailer i do. I shop at Misty Mountain Vapors main store, not their flea market stall, and they have always done right by me. They also have a large "tasting" bar at their retail store, its worth checking out just for that. I was just there Friday night picking up my new evic, plus a couple bottles of nicquid and a couple evod bccs, and a large bottle of their pomegranate eliquid.

Very cool story and mine is much the same I quit the day my stuff arrived... never looked back...Vaping is better on every level!!..

yeah man eGo or "Joytech" does not get enough credit for producing a "convincing" product, most folks get suckered into a cheap cigalike and end up trashing the whole vape idea...

Sounds like you are bound to end up with a VV/VW mod eventually but take your time because the industry is still evolving and new innovations are always coming along, yesterdays "best" is tomorrows old news... being in this culture is awesome and seeing the innovations hit the market and then watching the reviews is all part of what keeps me excited about it...Mods are getting cheaper with more features and that will force the competition to get more realistic with their pricing...all in all...its a good time to be a Vaper

I work literally 5 minutes from Westgate, right up here on Airport Blvd. Love the main storefront, and the pizza joint next door ain't too shabby either! I'm sure we'll bump into one another sooner or later and won't even realize it!

Yep, that's the very same pomegranate my girlfriend is addicted to. We spent about an hour eating some pizza and trying out all the new liquids last Saturday. That Nicquid Biscotti is now my favorite dessert vape!

Clearo-Mizer: Yeah, the mod is coming. It's just a matter of time. But like you advised, I'm taking it slow and watching the new stuff as it rolls out very closely.

Retrox,

Thanks for sharing your story! I remember my first experience with vaping too. They guys at the mall kiosk showed me an ecig, I tried it and thought it was cool, but too much $ having weaned myself down to less than 1/2 PAD. I walked outside, lit up an analog and then... a bird crapped on my head. I walked inside, bought a starter kit and now here we are ~1.5 year later.

Same thing happened to me!!! I've been sick and with increasing asthma, I knew I had to quit and wanted to quit. But like others have said, part of me just wasn't doing it. A quick run into a 7-11 and an NJOY later, exactly one week ago today (I am celebrating this occasion!!!) and I have not touched an analog. I honestly feel as if this has been such a blessing to me.

Congrats to you and loving this site ...

Congrats Retox, im right there with you. This makes me wonder actually how many people stole moms pall malls. For me they were unfiltered and still to this day I dont know why they intrigued me. Even as a smoker I never once wanted one of those. Curiosity is bad, very bad haha. So happy now vaping when I want and where I want. I love that I am not alone in this journey back to a healthy cleaner life
