Hello everyone. I have been vaping for almost 3 months. I lost my kit while I was traveling earlier this week. I just received a new ego kit in the mail today to hold me over until my new lava tube arrives. Unfortunately, I forgot to order more juice (big dummie). I live in the country. I only have access to a CVS and a supermarket. There is no health foods store or vaping store near me and I can't drive because I have epilepsy. I see that CVS has something called "CVS Pure Glycerin USP". The pharmacist says that it is pure VG. Can I use it along with some kind of flavoring I can get at the grocery store to hold me over until next week? It is the holiday weekend and even if I order something and use overnight delivery I wouldn't get it until Wed or Thur. I have not touched a cig since I started vaping (yay me) and I don't want to relapse. I am dying here!!! I know that there would be no nicotine, but I think that the act of smoking will be enough to hold me over. Any sugestions? Is the CVS vgsafe? what are my flavoring options at the store? Please help, I am driving my service dog "Justin" insane with my nervous energy.

Oh bless your heart. I sure wish I could help you out. If I lived even remotely close to you I would be driving to you to bring you some juice. Try to stay strong and don't let this get to you. I have read somewhere that you can get Vegetable Glycerine and Propylene Glycol somewhere, probably drug store for the PG and something like Tractor supply for the VG or vice versa, I can't remember now and I wish I could help. I'm sure one of our wonderful members will come along and help you out. I just feel awful for you and I fully understand.

I have thought about that, however, I am disabled and live on an extremely slim budget. I just had to spend money on the batteries and really can't afford to spend more that $15 before the 1st. I know... pathetic right? I was hoping that if CVS brand I would not have to pay for 5 days worth of disposables. They are so expensive around here.

CG USP by itself is pretty thick - also a bit hard to get Flavor to come through.
Also limited on what flavoring you can find.

You can get the VG, Dilute with distilled water at 2-3 drops per 10ml.
Flavoring - possibly Lorann Strawberry(it is PG based) at 1.5ml to 8.5 ml VG
This would give you a fairly balanced no nic base at about 90vg/10pg

Any available(Water soluble) Flavor should be able to be substituted

Thanks for the mixing info. I was wondering how much water to add this will really help. The strawberry idea sounds good. Can I find pg based flavoring at the supermarket?

Most Walmart / some grocery stores / bake shops carry flavorings - Avoid Oil based - cinnamon, orange

You said you just received a new ego kit in the mail today.

Is it 510 threaded? If it is, most gas stations these days carry blu brand, pre-filled cartos I think. Im pretty sure they are 510 threaded.

Sorry you're in a tight spot. Wish I could help out.

I tried pharmacy VG and supermarket flavouring once. It made me feel nauseous. I don't know which component was the cause.

Around here some supermarkets have flavouring, some don't. I only found one flavour that did not contain oil, sugar or colouring: artificial aniseed extract. I barely tasted anything even after adding a high percentage of flavouring.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this approach. Others might have had more success.

Somewhere out there
Unflavored VG diluted with a little distilled water is not bad to vape by itself, just boring. CVS or Walmart USP VG is fine. Sorry I can't help with flavoring.

If you do get the Blu cartos, I bet you could stretch them out by topping off with some unflavored VG after they're partly used.

I think that I will probably try a diluted mixture without added flavor. I was reading another thread and it sounds like VG has a slight sweetness to it. I really don't have many other choices. Everyone in this thread has been very supportive. I am finding that the vaping community as a whole if very nice and understanding. I really like it here. Just talking this problem out has helped me relax. Thanks everyone.
