Hi K9djf. Being out of supplies is rough, sorry to hear about that. I actually use the CVS Glycerin in all of my own mixes. I only DiY liquids. Since you will be roughing it for the next few days, Here is what I would suggest. When you add your water keep it at about 10% of your mixture. 20 drops vg 2 drops water...preferably distilled, but like stated before "in a pinch" you do what you gotta do.... and if you do get cravings for nicotine you could add a little snus into the rotation...

pm me some info and I will send you a package of supplies on tuesday via ups, on me.

As for flavoring from the local grocery. I have some decent success in the past - just read the labels first. I have used flavors from the store and while food flavoring can be expensive to start with and the organic brands are more so - the organics have nothing more than vanilla bean extract, water and some 'organic alcohol' while some of the other commercial brands have artificial flavoring as well as natural, preservatives (fine swallowed not great for inhalation) and regular distilled alcohol which to me had an obvious taste that kind of showed up through the flavor. Also check and see if there is any added food coloring. I have never found an extract that did (suspect it can't be an extract if recolored) but have seen several food flavorings with artificial color - like red in strawberry flavoring. Food coloring is additive with regular arguments over just as something you swallow - inhaling something that if spilled on my skin will dye it that color, well I am just not sure I want a bit of dye in my lungs even if its diluted in the flavoring and diluted again in your base. I just am not sure its a safe as using flovoring that have no added color to make them look pretty.

Hello everyone. This is K9DJF. I tried to do a member verification this past weekend and there was a problem with my email address. I received an admin message with a link asking me ro resubmit the form. For some reason I didn't have permission to access the form. I later realized that I was unable to PM or post. I think that there was a simple mistake and due to the holiday weekend, my problem has not been addressed yet. I didm't want to keep everyone hanging. I read the terms and conditions. I am not fraudulently using a new name, nor am I trying to pass myself off as someone else. I have had no violations against me so I am assuming I am OK. If this is a problem please notify me and I will cancel one of the accounts. Once again, My apologies. This is K9DJF, I am using a different account because my first account is not functioning properly.

So back to the issues I was having this weekend... I made it to CVS and the grocery store. I was able to find the VG at CVs. However, I did not find anything safe to flavor it with. I cut it with distilled water and have been vaping it. It is clean and tasteless. It has no nicotine. I didn't realize how much my body still depends on the nicotine. I guess that you could call this a partial success. I purchased 1 disposable because I couldn't find any cartos at CVS or the grocery store. It was expensive and only lasted for about three hours of conservative vaping. I have spent my budget for the month so I guess I will just have to vape flavorless nicotine free juice until I can order some after the first.

For some reason I am unable to PM you. I would love to talk to you about it. I think that it has something to do with my new member status. I will try again after I have 6 posts. If you could PM tcgenius that would be great. Then I could reply to it.

I feel your pain Dustin. Getting started out in vaping can be a little costly and I hope your next month's budget goes better.

My respect to those people in this thread who offered their support and supplies.

Thanks... Everyone has been great. I am really sorry about the problem with my username. I know that everyone was hanging waiting to find out what happened.

Thanks everyone. It is good to be back online. When it rains id definitely pours. I am starting to realize that just talking to everyone helps divert my attention and helps with the nic withdrawal. I am lucky to have found this place. I have already met some really cool people and I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

ya know.. if you have either cinnamon sticks or a whole clove in the spice cabinet at home.. you might try doing a steep of either of them in a small amount of VG to see if it imparts any flavor. I can't imagine that using the whole spice would be much different from the extract - of course liking either of those flavors would be a prerequisite.

I tried the cinnamon stick suggestion. I cut a small piece off the stick and steeped in in a small amount of distilled water for about 10 minutes. Then I mixed about 9ml of VG. and slowly added the flavored water mixture. It gave it a good taste. It is a little hard on the throat tough. I am going to dilute the mixture to see if that helps.
