I agree completely. This was caused by a faulty pv. Most commercially made VV pv's, that I know of, come with protection to prevent this from happening.

Indeed. The ONLY way this happens is if the device is continuously firing. The atomizer can't draw electricity by itself.

So either your firing button was pushed in accidentally, your switch went bad, or something conductive came into contact with your switch that caused the circuit to open and not close.

Well, I used it for 6 months and it never faulted out before, I must have leaned on the button....oh well, no biggie, I added an on/off switch to it anyways.

you guys are going really heavy on this guy ! he's already ...... of that he/she destroyed his PV.
even if it was his fault, I still feel bad.
but i agree with everyone here besides the sarcasm and the hostility towards you since you blamed it on the rba. If oxidized properly it shouldn't be a problem, and even if unoxidized properly it wouldn't fire without the fire button triggering. but sorry for your loss
