And what he said again, it’s his buzz and that is the logical thing to NOT do, wash your buzz.
but working on electronics with salt water coming in (never sunk, thank goodness) and going on my electronics unexpected I can tell you washing out with hot water and COMPLETE drying will save them, even after the salt water dries, had a lot of skeptics after telling them about washing down PCB boards with water but all others who work in saving contaminated electronics will tell you to wash it out with fresh water and dry COMPLETELY for days before even thinking of putting power on IT WORKS. But I just continue on this for those who drop some electronics in some liquid they need to wash out or clean up after it dries. I’ve washed PCB’s with the same kind of pots the Buzz and they survived, I worry about the miniature connectors as much as the pots, and they have all survived water washing too. The big thing is complete drying before you apply power.
Again, what he said, don’t wash your buzz.
