I, too followed Jerry's link from another thread, and am astounded!

In her role as moderator, Classy is extremely fair yet firm, and makes me feel secure in knowing that the ECF rules will be enforced.

She happens to be very sweet in person, also.

I do sympathize.

Of all the issues that have gotten me in hot water with Classy, my love of the female anatomy and desire to celebrate it has been the most consistent one that has kept her watchful of my activity.

There are a lot of vape forums out there, but this is the one I chose to stay in, because it's a nice, friendly, clean neighborhood. Without the diligence of the mods, ECF would be a slum, like most of the other forums, and we'd be wading through thugs, bullies, thieves, dealers and flashers to get our info, if we could even still get our info.

I have much respect and empathy for ALL of our mods. They have a tough job to do, and they willingly do it for free. For us. I know I wouldn't wanna do it, so thank you.

I've not met or had dealings with classwife (I play by the rules), however, the comments on that Facebook page are childish at best. The support here out weighs the hate there. I for one love ECF and am happy to be part of it. This for me is enough to post in this thread. Classwife, you have my support. By the way, "can't we all just vape and get along?"

I don't know who is this "new breed" of members here---- but it seems that they are very mean spirited.

I encourge the mods, including Classwife, to start purging these people. The mods here do a fantastic job, and the amount of times Classwife has been at the ready to help me, I can't even count.

I say toss 'em out of here.

I just saw a negative review of a vendor here, where the user didn't make a neg review, they made a complete character assassination of the vendor. Called the vendor a crook, a thief, etc. I don't even KNOW this vendor, but I can tell you taht nobody should be allowed to name-call like this in a supplier review, IMHO. REviews should be factual, not filled with name calling. That is 3rd grade stuff, or Jerry Springer for adults stuff.

This should not be allowed and I don't know who these new breed of members are, but they are useless people.

SO probably one or more of them doesn't like classwife, since she is hard-working, useful, and actually helps people in a courteous way.

Guess the kind of members I'm talking about couldn't RELATE to that ---- ROTFL and very sad at same time.

I've moderated my fair share of forums over the years. It's a thankless job. I can NOT imagine dealing with a forum as large and busy as this one. Do I agree with everything that happens here? Probably not, but when you're a member somewhere, you agree to abide by their rules.

Let's face it, they all do a great job - as volunteers, at that.

There's always going to be someone that will get in a snit over stuff. It's how online works. My first "message board" experiences were more than 20 years ago, back before the internet was popular and we had local BBSes. It was the same back then. It's easier for someone to say something rude in writing than in person, and drama will ensue at times.

HUGS to Classy. I know it's probably somewhat funny, but it still stings when someone goes to that lengths to show "we don't like you". Eh, let it roll off your back.

Racehorse, there has always been and will always be good people and not so good people, in the world. Whether they joined the ECF in 2008, 2013, or somewhere in between, it doesn't matter. There will be good members and not so good members.

I've been a participant in quite a few forums in my time, and ECF is by far the biggest community of like minded friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I shopped quite a few ecig forums before settling here. The reason being is that people are for the most part friendly and helpful here. Some if not many had a LOT of cursing and hateful banter between its members. But not here. That in my opinion has EVERYTHING to do with the moderators. They all must be doing a great job. I've only read some of Classwifes comments and though I dont know her, Im willing to say I support her and any other moderator here for that matter.

We don't give these types of petitions any consideration at all. If someone had a valid complaint they would contact an admin and we WOULD look into it; everyone is human, and we all make mistakes from time to time. We would also look into the complainer, if you have a history of causing problems then it's only understandable that your reward for your actions will increase in severity.

Since I've seen a few comments on it in this thread, we do not take action on people for actions done on other forums or sites. Complain all you want on those other sites, just follow OUR rules while you're on OUR site.

Ok, now you can all go back to talking about how great Classy is (give some of the other mods a pat on the back too, they all work hard for very little praise an no compensation).
