I've heard good things about this device, but I'm curious what you keep on hand for back-up, or do you vape on faith alone? ;)

I didn't mean to insinuate that I was an expert on the VV v3.0. Far from it. That being said though...

I just purchased my second VV v3.0. Ran into a vendor that was carrying them and thought "Hey! I don't have a white one!", so there ya go.

Don't get me wrong, I also have other bats, like my iClear 134 and my Halo G6's with e-Smart Clearos (I've got a pocket case with 2 bats and 2 clearos that is smaller than a pack of smokes, I just can't escape the cig-a-likes because of it, it's kind of my stealth vape), but right now I'm happy with my VV v3.0s for overall vaping and portability. They're kind of the perfect balance between small and huge, and many of the benefits of both. I just love em right now.

Ask me again in a couple of weeks, and who knows what the answer might be? :p

Since you are headed in the rba direction, skimping on adequate will just leave you hanging and having to upgrade again. You'll want to get a device that will put out 6 volts and 15 watts. Won't need that to begin with, but with the right rba and build, one tends to push it to the max output. The SVD, SID, or Telsa would fit the bill. Also if you think $100 is to much for a good quality battery pv, then just wait till you shop for a quality rba. If you buy something to just get by on, you'll be buying something to replace it with in the future. Any quality device will quickly pay for itself from the money you haven't spent on smokes.

I didn't mean that to come off as snarky! I was asking you seriously. I was wondering what people used for back-up. I was trying to gauge what might be recommended to someone like the OP. For example if a VV v.3.0 was suggested would they have to buy another one or would the charger work with other devices? I was kidding when I said "vaping on faith."

I was recommended this kit by a member on here (i cant remember who......I think they moved on) and it was honestly the best thing I ever did. It was a step up from what i had previously used (cig-a-like). Here's the link for information purposes only as it's a u.k. site but I'm sure that you will be able to find something similar in A,A,

For me personally I messed up when I began to vape not really mess up but I looked at myself and I was like ... did I get myself I to right when I found out I had an interest for vapes I blew my paycheck all to mods and what not. My suggestion is start off something small and cheap like an eVic. I started off with The Avenger mod and I couldn't regret it more I had no idea what it did it seemed like I blew 200 bucks on a flash light. I'm now happily vaping a lovely provari hence the name :) hope my suggestion helped happy vaping.

It sounds like he wants to spend $50 for a large tube-like device that will hold an RBA and not look stupid. Also wants high mah battery. If I am reading the OP's posts correctly. Don't think that is doable even at Fasttech, if he wants batteries and a charger and he wants it before sometime next year. Not completely sure if he wants vv/vw or a mech mod.

Im giving up. what is the best way of finding the right mod for me?

I have preferences and stipulations that its just gotten to hard to explain on here so I need some kind of database. even if its not updated all the time just something that would help me find what I need.

Anything helps. Thank you.:(

ok Im gonna probably vape for life but I dont really want to drop a lot of cash yet. so keeping prices near the lower end is a priority.

Do not want odd box shaped mods like the mvp. Just something round-ish at least.

Still debating whether I want a single piece or separate battery. If single piece I need a USB pass thru. If it uses batteries Im buying 2. 18650 or something with a large mAh.

I'll post more as I think of it.

I keep my old ones as backups.

started with an ego-c, upgraded to an elego vv 3.0. I have that one and now the significant other wants to upgrade their ego to something better. Cause the egos suck.

We've been sharing the vv with the iClear 30 tank. its a great vape but its top heavy. Id like to get that balanced out a little. Personally Id like to get a mod that'll suit a RBA tank cause that's what's next on my list.

Any of this making sense?

uhm...cheap? I dont really want to spend $100 bucks but I may not mind $50 if its awesome.

Hiya back! But, as I said, I'm not sure if I'm reading the posts correctly.

Yeah. I looked at the ops post count and figured that maybe he/she wasn't sure what mod to go for. Just something round that wasn't top heavy for around $50-$100. S.O,state the Egos suck but what the ops opinion? The set-up I recommended would have been a good one if it wasn't for the last post (which I never read until i posted myself). Personally, and in general i think all ops should list a set of criteria of what they are thinking of. i.e. how many smokes they smoked, how often are they out of the house and for how long, what sort of size battery they are looking for. Those sort of statements are inherently useful when looking for recommendations for a new mod.
E.G. Its no good getting a dinky looking mod that only has a 650mah battery when you are out of the range of a power point for 12hrs at a time.

Here is the first ego sized vari watt device to be released http://www.hoosierecig.com/KGO-VV2-1300mAh_p_774.html
He has a black Friday sale going on for 26.99-they come with the battery and a charger. get 2 so you have a back up and its close to the $50.
Right now I don't see a big tube mod that's variable and includes the batts and charger for that price. But, there are some great black Friday sales coming up. It wouldn't surprise me to see someone offering a kit that meets your needs.

posted wrong link before-its right now
