i survived--

-- my surgery, and though i didn't bring vaping supplies with me to stealth, i find that i really wouldn't have wanted to with all the pain going on, and the various other things that just... made me uncomfortable and icky feeling.

however...

i was telling the nurse about it when they'd ask questions about smoking and such, and the patient in the bed next to mine, her husband, when the nurse left had peeked over and goes, 'i didn't mean to overhear, but...' and asked what i meant by vaping and e-cigs. LUCKILY... the bag i used for my overnight bag is one i use for work and so i had some business cards in there. gave them to him and his wife who were being discharged, and gave one to the nurse, too, for if anyone talks about quitting or she knows anyone interested.

so that's 2 coworkers, a nurse, another patient and their husband. woot!

wow, well thank you, everyone! hopefully the V4L crew will have some new orders coming their way. once i get back to work i plan on giving out some older supplies of mine, now that i'm phasing out auto batts for manuals, i have a few to give away. one's already set to go to a friend from another forum, but i have 2 others. i love passing the torch! i didn't want to force it, but now people seem interested...

i haven't been vaping much since home, but i live in an apt. downstairs and have been upstairs so my mother can 'care for me' (though already today i'm doing most things on my own and even am about to DRIVE MYSELF to go get my prescription filled cause laziness is abound on this floor apparently) and all my vaping gear is downstairs. once my daughter is back from her dad's i'll have her help me move back downstairs (a few bags, my computer, etc) and then i'll be the vapinator i was.

thanks for everyone's kind words! i'm re-defining my pain threshold and i'm pretty nauseated most the time, but i'm doing better each day.
