I swore when I started smoking "analogs" that I would quit before 30...

Try starting with the m401. It is well balaced between vapor production, flavor, and battery life. If you smoke analog cigarettes...the m401 is goling to feel and look alot more like what you are used to.

I have the 510 and the m401 and I love them both. For me the m401 is the perfect "on the go" e-cigg. I must have my 510 in the morning though! ;)

I have the m-402 and it works ok with a lot of tinkering but I ordered the Joye 510 in hopes of more vape and better th. Plus I am getting the usb pt cause Im on the computer alot these days and I seem to vape alot at idle. Ultimately though I plan on getting a juice-Box. Carlos makes 'em but takes awhile and at $89.00 w/o battery I may just make my own.

.... and 30 is rapidly approaching (Feb 11th!)

If I do actually reduce nicotine dependence, that's all well and good, but the reason I want to quit "smoking" is that I am sick of the health problems. I want to breathe. I want to not smell like smoke. I want to reduce the trash and not have to dump out ashtrays. I want to not be tempted to litter when I'm driving (damn cars don't come with ashtrays anymore!) It's a dirty, stinky, nasty habit.

But I like nicotine.

I also like the idea of paying $25 for two weeks worth of nicotine instead of $60 for 10 days!

I research any purchase I make, which is why I came here. And it looks like the consensus is that the 510 gives the most realistic smoking experience? It seems like everyone is happy with them... I currently smoke menthol cigarettes, so I will have to try to find a menthol flavoring I like. I looked at the Halo items, and they seemed very good...

Any pointers? Any best vendors for the Joye 510 (or vendors to avoid)? Any moral support? Any recommendations from former Turkish Jade or Virginia Slim Menthol smokers for the best tasting/most realistic liquids for transition?

I want to have my vaporizer and be smoking it so I can put my last "analog" out on February 11, 2010 at 02:51 AM.... :)
Also Moriah, you will quit analogs sooner than you think!

(I set up my signature to reflect my planned quit date of Feb 11th.)

You may need to edit that.

I hope for you that you have a similar experience to the many posters here that smoked for that last time on the day their first PV arrived.

Good Luck, and let us know how you get on

Looking at the -320 number right now is certainly a motivator to get it up to 0 :) And I hope that too. Very much so... but I may still do as I planned and smoke one analog to put out at the very moment I have been here on this world 30 years just to remind myself how nasty they really are... or that might be a Capitally Bad Idea. I dunno.

If I get it by Thursday and have been tobacco-free for two weeks, I'll have probably gotten some of my sense of smell back!

Seriously though, the analogs are truly delicious but the e-cigs somehow just make it easy to put them(analogs) away. Even if you dont plan on quitting, the e-cigs are just so much nicer as far as vaping anywhere you want(bathroom, bedroom, den, work etc) so even if you continue to smoke, at least you wont smoke as much. Oh yeah, it wont matter which flavor you pick cause any will do.

I see you have already made your first order, so that is cool. I am pretty research heavy also I put together the culmination of all my findings in this thread.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...sonal-starter-kit-placing-my-first-order.html

I didn't see any prices on your order, there are quite a few places you can check to compare prices when you get to the point where you want to resupply. I do like that sample package. At some point I might look into getting one. Another piece of advice I got about juice strengths, is if everything is the same price. You can save money buy ordering the strongest strength in whatever flavors you like. Then after you receive those bottles you can dilute them. You can dilute them when refilling, something like 3 drops from the bottle per 1 drop of dilution, or get some empty bottles and cut the juice directly that way.

Thank you for your post! That will really help all of us who are struggling since we're currently giving so much money to Big Tobacco.....

I could have went cheaper, but I was 1) anxious to get started and ordered a bit before I should have and 2) in lurve with the copper. If I'd been more careful I would have waited a bit, and if i'd been less picky I probably would have done the CigNot super deal on the black.

I went through ecigbestsave.com -- they are not a preferred vendor here tho so I hope it's okay to mention their website, that's why I hadn't mentioned where I got it or prices before. They had the copper and said what color the LED was for it, they also had pink, purple, red, blue, and stainless along with the traditional white or black. Since I ordered on the weekend I got a $5 discount on the starter kit, making it $45. Normally it's $50. The PCC I chose was in silver, but they also had the purple, blue, black, red, and gray. (What can I say, I'm a girl -- and this is going to be an accessory, right, with the amount of time I'm going to spend carrying it?) It was $26. I then got 10 blank cartridges for $8.50. Free shipping was available but because I was anxious I chose Priority Mail shipping for $6. I ordered on Sunday and USPS has already picked it up, so I hope to receive it by Thursday.

I have a feeling that the copper may only come with the purple LED for the battery, so if that's the case I could have saved a ton by going through one of the preferred vendors. MyFreedomSmoke, the place I got my sampler pack, has a 40% off coupon for ECF customers for hardware purchases, and they had the copper and silver PCC. With that coupon, the same starter kit I got would have been $41.97, the PCC $19.17, and the same $6 shipping for Priority Mail. I can't seem to find where their blank cartridges are, though, for the 510. I definitely think I'll be getting my extra atomizers there when I order my full size liquids since each will be 7.17 instead of 10.99 through ecigbestsave.

Even the 40% coupon doesn't beat CigNot's savings on the 510 starter kits in black and white though....

Ok so yer a lil shopper. I hope you get what you pay for and arent disapointed with what you get. Honestly. One thought though, when you do decide to quit analogs you will want to have back-up batteries, cats and attys. So shop with a more quantity type mindset. Just my advise.

I'm hoping I am not disappointed, either, especially since I'm going through an untested place. I seriously almost tried to cancel it this morning, but the website said it was in processing and too late to cancel. They also went through Paypal for payment, so at least I can dispute it if it's a knockoff or doesn't work and they don't want to refund my money.

With the 40% discount at MFS my batteries will be $13.77 and the atomizers $7.17 -- I already realized when I read further that I will need more than 2 atomizers to enjoy all the cool flavors! I also loved the idea one girl on Youtube had about using a 14-day pill dispenser box to keep track of which atomizers and cartridges were full of which stuff. It may not go so well in the accessory department in my purse, but one of those won't be too awkward to pack if I have to travel a few days.

A womans purse is a lot like her shoe. WAY bigger on the inside than the outside.
But really, there is no way you will ever get the "Best Deal" but you will still be leaps and bounds ahead of analogs. Sounds like you are doing far better than I did when I started a few weeks back. I tried to quit with patches but it wasnt doing the trick so I went to the local smoke shop and got a E-Cig M-402. Worked good for a couple days but I still had a craving for analogs so I got some Snus(Used 1 time). Worked like a charm but I had a couple(2) analogs a day later. Anyway, Im starting to like not lying to my family about smoking and its really not that hard to not smoke even though Im not really committed to quitting. It just seems to be happening cause of these things(pvs).
