Well I started on the apollo kit for a month and managed to go from a pack a day to 5 cigs a day. But couple days ago got the riva 510 from LF and that was better. But today got the smoketeck dual coil lr cart clear. With Ciggy flavour from jughead I made it a full day without a cig... first time in umm 27 years.

LOl sorry should say hi to everyone...been a lurker but these boards are awesome :p

Way to go. One step in the right direction. Its like a journey on a train. Sometimes going uphill and sometimes downhill. Most of the time it is pretty level going. Uphill is the few days you miss smoking at first. It is amazing how many people have managed to quit using e-cigs. I remember when I first started e-cigs I was always looking for an ashtray to put it in. Good Luck and Welcome

Congratulations Strongz on a smoke free day!
Good to hear you didn't give up and found a combination that has worked for you! I almost gave up on vape until I was gifted a sample of CaramelBacco. On the second day of vaping with that liquid, every cigarette I had became a boring joke! I broke free of cigs in 7 days of my first vape.

Now that my mouth has detoxed from 20+ years of smoking cigarettes, I'm enjoying flavours that where repulsive and nearly impossible to vape at first, such as RY4.

Hey Congrats Strongz! Always nice to hear another success story! It gets easier to forget about the analogs. For me it was love at first vape as I have been analog free for 8 days without thinking about them anymore!
Oh ya, all the warnings about spending on mods and juices is all true! Sometimes I think I might need an intervention here pretty quick! But it's all good because as long as I'm not buying analogs anymore, I feel it's worth it!
Enjoy your journey!

Breaking the routine that comes with smoking analogs is also a tough one to break. When I use to smoke I'd go stick my head out a window since I didn't freely smoke in the house. I'd hang my head out as far as I could until I was done and I had an old portable car ashtray hanging outside to stick the butts in.

When I switched to vaping for the first couple of days I found it weird NOT to go to the window. I actually at one point went there for a minute just like I did with stinky smokes just to do the same old, same old.

Once your body realizes its still getting nicotine it will all be fine. I honestly think I had to go through a slight chemical withdrawl when I quit because of all the nasty ingredients that are so thoughtfully included with regular tobacco. Its really easy to go through that withdrawl, but its still something I felt my system was going through when I quit.
