When you look into the catch cup, you have 4 slots, which are supposed to let liquid in and out correct?

Well, the 4 slots on mine are about .5mm higher than the rest of the catch..this seems to be causing some good amount of juice to get stuck at all times...I found myself tilting the Reo so all of the juice would pool over one hole, then I could vape it back in..this doesnt seem right though..

I already e-mailed Rob, but I figured Id ask here too..

Those slots should be about level with the cast aluminum in the well. At least, that's where mine line up. I was about to suggest that you shouldn't be squonking so much that juice accumulates in the well, but if the slots in your atty socket are that high, I guess any excess juice is not going to have a place to go. That would be a problem. Robert will take care of you I'm sure.:)

The slots on mine are about flush but the ridges in between are obviously raised up some. As far as I know the slots are for air flow through the atty not nessasarly for juice flow. You really don't want juice flowing through them. I f your blind squpnking you should never see juice in the well or in the slots. If you using the standard technique you press the bottle just till you see juice at the slots. But you don't want it coming out. Then give a dry pull unfired and vape. Either way juice should not be flowing through the slots.

Yep, heres the pic I sent to Rob. Form the VERY few pics I seen, they all have the slots level with the basin, which makes sense, so whatever liquid MAY be out there get sucked back it.

Hello rc10mike The slots very a whisker from one mod to the next .If you want the connector lowered I would be happy to do that for you but until you master the mod you will still end up with juice in your well That is what its there for over flow from over plunging .

Please put a note in the box with your email and a brief description of the problem.

Press fit (I remember rob saying that.) I thought I might add that sometimes my vape gets less satisfying, and I get a paper towel and wipe out the catch cup. That always improves my hit. Basically i use my catch not as extra juice storage, but as a flood guard. I actually DON'T want the juice back in my atty, so that I don't flood it even more. My connector isn't set as high as yours, but honestly I kind of wish it were :)

rc10mike , this is a hack of a pic! wow, i have never seen my Reo's drip well so sharp and big. great!

my atomizer connector looks about the same, maybe a little lower. i am a blind squonker and it happens that i flood the cup (depends on the thickness of the juice and my astral biorhythm). i then suck the liquid out of the cup with a syringe and everything's ok. on the road, a kleenex will do. and - how hard i flood the cup, the juice stays there when carrying the Reo in my pocket.

@ Robert: this solves my question concerning the "gutter" (in the illustrated guide) - this gutter was a fata morgana from my side. sorry for all the confusion.

The pic is from my Droid Razr with Macro.

In the last few days, Ive gotten pretty good at the blind squonk. What Ive learned is you have to "Trust The Squonk".

At first I was pushing too hard thinking it wasnt working, but I noticed quickly all it takes is a very light push.

So yeah, the drip catch isnt an issue anymore:)
