Why all the different ohms? I thought you could use only certain ohms with certain batteries. I still don't know what purpose the ohms serve.

I bought the adapter when I decided to use the provari. I wasn't looking for new tanks at the time and all I needed was a bigger battery.

To answer your main question from Page 2... The internal battery is a convenience, but also a limitation. After so many charge/use cycles, it's like a cell phone and stops holding a charge. But they're not expensive to replace and by the time you do, you might be ready for something like @Opinionated's phallic symbol , which takes external batteries and needs a dedicated charger.

Don't worry so much yet about rebuilding coils. Coils for the Evod and MTx tanks are about $4 for five in a box. Change flavors, change coils, and rinse the used coil with hot water. It will be good two or three more times before giving up.

That Provari Mini on ebay will sell for well north of $100.

Well the nerve! Leaving me to fend for myself. Now here's the bad news. I was going to get the evod2 but I just read where the battery is only 650mah. What the hay? That won't last long especially for him--no wonder they send you 2. So I guess I should get the pro? It has a 2500 mah battery. I should have listened to you. And I'll just use my spinner with the kanger cartridges until I get up to speed. I'll send the pro to my brother in law with some extra coils.

But coastal cowboy, can I get a new tip for it? I hate the look of that stack just sticking out of it. He isn't going to be dripping just dragging. Could you suggest one from the Myvapestore so I know what to look for.

Oh, and what do you do if you want to change flavors in the pro if the cartridge is integrated. I forgot about that. Do you have to have a separate set up for each flavor?

On the battery life issue... Yes, that is a limitation. But, if that's the form factor you like best, there are 1100mah eGo style batteries out there. 900's too. Use your Google-foo for "1100mah eGo" and you'll find a slew of'em. I've never seen more than 1100mah.

Changing flavors in the pro is as easy as rinsing it out, shaking it dry and refilling. You might want to swap the coil if the flavor change is drastic. Like going FROM a mint/menthol to a custard.

Ahhh, he's a guy! Okay, I get it now. Rinse and refill. I really like the look of it, and I think it is a good starting point for him. I'll just get some of the cartridges that are on sale for my spinner. He can always upgrade if he likes it.
