Cool now start working on juices so you don't have to buy from others. Diy is the way to go. Don't mind me I'm in to self sufficiency big time.

I've already been dabbling in that. Unfortunately, my second efforts were such a disaster I went on a juice-buying binge of epic proportions. I mean a SERIOUS shopping of juices.....jaw dropping, even.

However, I have my whole DIY lab kitted out and I'm collecting recipes. I'm a little nervous diving in again but I'll overcome that fairly soon. In the meantime I have a metric TON of Melvin....lol

That sounds creepy...:D

It took me 3 months of pretty much constant buying and experimentation before I found a setup that I could get a consistent vaping experience from. Since then, I have just bought about $50 of juice for my vapocolypse drawer.

It's just an awesome feeling when you are satisfied with the equipment you have and confidence in your own knowledge to reach the point of saying you are done.

Kudos, I think you just leveled up.

You're right!
I should proof read.
LOL

And the flavors I chose are all at least vapable. The only unvapable flavor I have is one of the two flavors I bought when I got my first kit.

I revisited a juice I bought with my first kit recently. I was kind of stoked about re-trying a flavor I had previously not liked as I know juices taste different over time and with different delivery devices.

So now I 'know what I am doing', I got a barely broken-in kidney-puncher 1.5 long-barrel atty out and put it on my zmax mini. I dripped a few drops of juice into the atty, did a dry-hit (no power) to check for gurgling, dropped a couple more, checked the ohms, adjusted the wattage to 7.5 (sweet spot for fruity juices for me with the KP Atty) and fired that baby up.

I got 20 times the flavor I first got with my spinner / CE5 kit that I first tried it on, I also got 10 times the vapor.

But it was 100 times more disgusting. So just to let you know, sometimes a disgusting juice is just that - disgusting.

I've pretty much got everything I'll need for vaping for quite a while. Other than the occasional atomizer or something, I should be golden.

I spent a fortune getting what I like and wanted but it's all worth it if I stay away from cigarettes. I haven't even had the merest craving for one since the end of the first week.

*sighs in contentment*

Congratulations!!!! Good to hear.

I did the same when I started. Bought a ton of flavors some I still haven't used after 2 years. It takes trial and error. I made bottle after bottle and they tasted like ..... Then I got smart and went drop by drop and researched everything. Still working on it. I always recommend people start with a couple flavors and go through the process of tasting at each step. This can take weeks but you don't know that when you are starting.

YES! This is a melon juice but it tastes like nauseatingly oversweet, slighly rotten honeydew.

Just completely gross.

So true. I'm surprised at how much the taste matters. I can't even inhale the espresso I have, the dream sickle is good but the enjoyment lasts about as long as I would like to eat actual dreamsickles, but I can suck on mints all day and the same goes for my mint vape. Can't wait until I've built up a large variety of flavors because I've discovered variety is key.

I notice you said "nearly" :) Well, I hope the mailman brings you some exciting vapemail, at least. I love that feeling. I like it that you're off the cigarettes, long may it last. Personally I made a vow never to smoke one again, and I wish that for you too

I just hope her carrier can lift the mailbag without getting a hernia.

Zoe - you seriously need a time out. Go stand in the corner for the next month. Just make sure all your vape stuff is in reach. :)

I created an "e vape" folder in my email to store all my orders and stuff. I'm not saying I went overboard or anything, buying absolutely everything that caught my eye and I wanted, but I have over 200 documents in there and I haven't even been vaping a whole month....lol

Start playing the contests. Lots of vendors give away juice and it's a good way to try new vendors and flavors. I found a couple flavors that I really like this way.

I don't see the need for more than two Provari Minis and a Reo, a few cartotanks, several Protank 2s, several Hypertanks, a bunch of drip tips, beauty rings, etc. and about a zillion juices plus some DIY stuff but you're right...something else pretty and shiny might come along...lol

I believe the proper term is Melvins

It's funny, I was never really a menthol smoker, but I do enjoy a menthol / minty vape.

Juice is the hardest / most fun part of vaping. I own some truly gag-worthy juices, but when you find that one that makes you go yum, that's better than any cigarette you've ever had.

I'm glad I've been able to research them online before buying. Just having to pick from the sad few at the B&M I bought my first kit at nearly wrecked my whole vaping career because it was horrid.

I believe we should now migrate from Melvin to "Capri"

It's nice being at the end of the buying arc isn't it. I have a few things to sell off that have come out of my regular rotation. Once those are gone, I'll be down to just what I need but like you, I'll have plenty of back ups.
