I think some of my nic is leaching/evaporating out of my less used attys.

I have attys with juice I do not vape much and it feels like there is less or no nic in them. May have been setting for a week or more with just the drip tip on them. Will the nic dissipate like that. should they be capped?

Actually nicotine readily combines with free oxygen to form a different chemical. This is often called oxidizing and much like steel, when it is oxidized, it is no longer good the same thing.

Capping an atty's top will not do much to stop this as there are also air inlets at the bottom of the atomizer. If you are pulling used atomizers back into service, it is best to blow them out and apply fresh liquid.

Again I agree with Hoosier but it only takes a second to rinse them out and let them dry and store them until ready to use again. If you don't want to do that you can put a condom cup on each end to keep the air out.
