just for the record we have used all colours...i have been known to smoke pink ones. he he

we used to get our atomizers from jason at TW.. any colour he had.. we used to take the paint off them to make them stainless..

most of the ones he used to send us were pink.. i dont think the "pink" fashion lasted that long.. he he he

life is now easier they come stainless.. we started the fashion i think.. they are all stainless under the paint.. stainless saves the chinese a job..

Hey, Walrus.

Any idea on doing a video of SD vs. the cigar? I didn't see one in the review sections. I have a BB on order from PS and am now wondering if I "need" to get an SD too! :)

I'll keep it in mind... right now I have no working cigar. It went past Supernova and into Global Thermonuclear Meltdown. I'm waiting on replacements.

i hate "a few quick puff videos.. entertaining but thats about all..

this thread will likely get moved to the suppliers section as product spam now..

but i have to say there is more to an e smoking product than how it performs on a video for ten minutes.. and i dont want to damage the e smoking industry in general so go ahead and buy the "cigar"... in fact go ahead and try everything before even thinking about investing in an SD.. he he he

our favorite customers are those who have already done all this (tried everything else) they know the score.. no one else does..

So here I am drinking my morning coffee, catching up on the forum before I start work, and . . .

Oh no, its not that its the fact that my stainless body would totally clash with the pink atomizer.

. . . and I start laughing so hard my coffee goes down the wrong way. 8-o Thanks for the chuckle, Keg.

I'm not a "girlie-girl," but I'm thinking it might be fun to make a statement, and pink is definitely a statement. It's good to know that I'll have Trog's approval. ;)

I think there's a lot of truth in that. If the SD had been my first e-cig, I'm honestly not sure that I would have fully appreciated it. The only e-cig that for me packs as good a punch is my Dura-C. However, the SD, while not as small as my Dura-C, wins hands down due to the batteries. Not only are the SD batteries longer lasting, but they're nonproprietary . . . dirt cheap and readily available from non e-cig suppliers. That's a HUGE plus in my book.

I can honestly say that I wish I'd never wasted the money on my 901, 801, mini pipe (I like it, but only until I tried the...) e-cigar. I really don't see myself using them much now that I have the SD. The pipe or cigar might make it out during Renaissance Festival time. My 901 and 801 atomizers will be spares for my SD.

I could have saved a lot of money going straight for the SD, but I guess my appreciation wouldn't be as high.

The trouble is we all have to find out if vaping will work for us 'first' before we can risk spending too much money on it.....it's only when we know it can work for us we need something more like troggs SD.

True, and I could have made the same statement anywhere along the chain. When I got my 801, I wish I hadn't got the 901. When I got the mini-pipe, I wished I hadn't spent the money on the 801. The e-cigar? Wish I hadn't wasted the money on the mini-pipe.

I love my SD... but I did just use one of my new e-cigar replacements, and I still love it, too. It's not better or worse... it's a different vaping experience. I just wish it was more reliable.

The SD wins hands down for reliability and battery life. It's very utilitarian. It will definitely be my go-to vape. I just don't it as a 'relaxing' device. That's when I'll turn to my e-cigar.

Maybe you can't really get what the product is in 10 mins, but taking into consideration what the more experienced people here have said and seeing it in action, it could help people like me in making the purchase. Especially, if, like many videos out there, they have a review that goes along with it. Not to mention that some are flat out funny as heck, cayanne pepper! I've only been at this for a real short time, but after reading and watching tons of threads and videos and relaying it to my own experiences I start to understand more of what they relay in the reviews and or videos. What would be the matter with getting a quality product, before I try the rest, that can save me cash in the long run and works apparently like no other? I would think that it would be a marketing idea for you. Forget the rest, get the best and save some cash on batteries while your at it. :) I'm already on my way to trying many of the others, so I guess I'm starting to fit your criteria. I'm sure that I'll be a customer one day, maybe sooner rather than later.

I still use a 901 and recently got my hands on an intellicig ( which is fantastic btw ) and i use them when i'm out and about and I'll still use my ruyan bling now and then because the carts from ruyan are nice for a little smokey treat for myself. But I wouldn't be without the SD , it's my main home Vaper and workhorse.

I'll still look out for anything different or that takes my fancy though...I still like toys ;)

our view on e cigs is that at best they can be considered the lesser of two evils..

best not to have to depend on real or electric fags.. but i need nicotine to keep me vaguely sane.. i would probably become a serial killer without it.. e smoking is the only real alternative to tobacco for me.. i expect to be doing it for a long time..

it aint perfect but it does work.. kind of... he he he

It's a learning curve, like anything. Most of the generic models are good in specific situations (for instance I like a pen in the pub) so I don't really regret them. I took a few expensive hits though (Janty Yentl KB and Sedansa Nano II - both excellent e-cigs but useless to me cos of cart-life, battery cost and the need to have multiple chargers). My current favourites are the SD and Ruyan's disposable cigar. I've got a Bling (think it's called Bada-Bing elsewhere), but it gets very little use because of the mouthpiece shape.

The SD has achieved one notable success for me. Stopped me dead in the water on the new model front - so EVOs, Duras etc are all just names to me.

I know that if hubby enjoys vaping as much as I do, the SD will be our next purchase. I started with the 901 which is going to hubby next week when I get my 801. They will become our spares when we can afford to order the SD's. First he needs to get vaping, then he needs to find employment, then I can order SD's. At least I have a plan. I've already begun mixing my liquid. Looking forward my having a Screwdriver.
