I have a PT in my truck from V4L and a Saber Touch mod in my hand. I love my Saber Touch from VaporMoon, as it is 5v regulated. What this means is, the voltage is regulated to be at 5v from the first time you hit a fresh set of battereis, until they need to be charged again. I get 24 hours on a set of batteries, and never lose flavor or vapor production, until the batteries just WON'T perform anymore without being charged.

I think that you can do some electrical magic with the various HV attys that Drew sells over at nHaler. I'm also curious about 5V vaping after blowing through a handful of LR attys on my woody at 3.7. I ordered a couple of CR123's which should take me up to 6V. I also got some of the atty's that supposedly drop 1V off of the input voltage or something like that. Theoretically (yeah, I know), I should be getting the 5V vaping experience with a 6V mod. Hopefully the stuff will come in later this week and I will post my results.

i too, am dying for a new 5v mod! i had an ego with some LR atties, but was not thoroughly impressed. I definitely want something with a side mounted switch, and not a bottom-button. never saw something that really caught my eye until i ran across the Buzz from NotCigs. One of the best features is that you can adjust voltage from 3.7-6v (if i remember right) with just a screwdriver. this way you can dial in that sweet spot with any atomizer. just dont know when ill be able to swing the extra change...

Hi mikey. I lived near Merriman and Venoy (just north of shack town) for 15 years. I'm making mods now and live about 60 miles west of you.

I grew up in a little neighborhood tucked in at Palmer and Venoy, right behind Adams Jr High...what a small world! I'm now in Colorado and love it! Still a true Red Wings Fanatic though, Drive arond Colorado with my logo on the truck!

Sorry, OT, didn't mean to hijack the thread, just thought it was cool to see someone from my neighborhood!

Small world indeed. I would love being in Colorado too. What's not to love. I haven't been there since I was 16 (looong time ago). My kids went to Adams.

Mikey, I'll e-mail you on the morning. Worked my .... off today and I'm freaking falling out.

I have a 5volt from Jay. What I want now is a 5volt juice box. Since I have 3 Puffers I don't want to go back to filling carts. The Puffers are to convenient. No messing with dripping and filling the carts. I fill the bottle and I am good for the day.

Ask and ye shall receive.......

I'm in the same boat. I've been using an eGo since I started, and I'm wanting to try a 5v mod. I've been reading on how to make one, but it kind of makes me nervous. I'd rather just buy one that someone has already made. The nice looking ones are way too expensive for me however, so I'm just looking for some kind of cheap box mod.

Indy Vapor has a low cost 5V box mod. I really like it and it crapped out on me in 3 days and he replaced it with a new one that is going strong. Even though he says no warranty!

I want a 5v device as well cos my 5v 510 PT is the best vape I have I think - but I dont want one thats BIG or boxy - I want one that looks like my 510 3.7v actually lol but before anyone yells LR atty at me - they don't seem to last very long so thats why i hadn't considered it. I'd also rather have a manual button thats halfway up the pipe (so to speak) as it seems the best place for my fingers (they sort of rest there naturally anyway) but I can't seem to find one that fits my long list of 'wants'.
Any thoughts guys n gals? Or do I want more than what's available right now?
