I have the same phone. It's usually on the coffee table next to me when I'm vaping - I wondered why that screen kept coming on....LOL

It's a fun little trick. Some smoke detectors use something like that. There's a small light in the detector and a sensor that picks it up. When the smoke passes between the two, the alarm is set off. At least that's what they thought me at a&p school.

So I just stealth vape and hold it in until there is no cloud. Should be good to go. BTW I got upgraded to first class for my long flight to Honolulu. Thanks United!!!

I am sure you can stealth vape...just take a window seat and get a pillow...lean against the window and vape into the pillow.

Vapor does not have any combustion products and if you don't blow clouds I don't see the smoke alarm being set off... Lurking around the ECF Travel forum I have not seen where anyone has set off alarms in a plane restroom. I may chicken out though. I survived cross country flights as an analog smoker... barely...

With the heightened security etc. I'd be scared the whole time... Like that moment when you're driving past a cop and even though you've done nothing wrong, you still have to look at speedometer and keep glancing to make sure he isn't following... Or am I the only paranoid one? :p
