I picked up a sig 100w plus during the black Friday sales, and purchased my Reo the next week. I love both of them to be honest. I've got lots of non bf Rda's, and I can throw any of them on the sig and be happy. The battery life is also a BIG plus. It's all about having different tools for different jobs! ;) (OK, I like shiny stuff.)

as a side note my wife bought me the sig 100w + for xmas because she heard my friend talking about it being awesome with an atlantis.. we will see :)

I must be like the odd man out when it comes to VV/VW!!! Just don't get all the hype. I once wasted like $20+ on an Ego Twist to see what all the hoopla was all about and it turned out to be an epic fail. It was either too little or too much. No in between... I can build almost any coil for whatever resistance or wattage I desire, and enjoy it on the most awesome device made... A REO Grand...

I say play away, you won't stray far from your Reos for sure.

The Atlantis is a good tank, great sub ohm experience from a stock coil head if there is such a thing, and any 50w box mod should push it just fine. I have four Reos but also an iPV2 and a Duke mostly for running RBAs and Aspire tanks, many different mech mods for running RDAs.

No matter what I bring with I always have a Reo.

OP, I hear you. I too want / long for something different. I want a SL LP hammertone grand. My standard hammertone is cool enough but I want something new and I love the feel of SL mods. I am waiting for the new 510 though :)

And a Nuppin' to go with it?

couldn't resist

I have lots of different mods and love them all for what they are - Provari, Hana Modz, Istick, Vanilla Copper and some other copper tube mechs but I use my REOs 80-90% of the time. Too many reasons that they are my "go to" to list. I thought that two would be enough but it seems that I just keep adding more REOs. And everyone of them gets used [emoji6]

If it helps you to take the plunge, I can tell you a used REO in the classifieds subforum sells for nearly what it costs new, and they rarely last more than a few hours, sometimes bare minutes. OTOH, I'm 98% sure, it will be your other mods that wind up in the classifieds. BTW, you can easily get bottles to fit a REO grand that hold 9ml of juice.

So I have 3 Reo's, 3 cyclones, atomic, mutation x, magma all bottom fed. But the last 2 days I've been pondering a 100 watt box for no reason. Pair it with a new Atlantis tank. I have no reason, wouldn't get rid of my Reo's either. I think it's mostly curiosity.

Any opinions? It's been years since I've had a VW mod.

We bought 2 100w Plus and Atlantis tanks to top them....I was so excited to get it I left it at work 2 days and forgot I even had the damn thing.

But let me walk to the bathroom without my Reo and I panic

Btw, I sold them both and bought 2 Nuppins - woot!

Got a VS rDNA40 for the wife as she's got a thing about regulation. Within a week she was back to the VVG.

Two days ago she asked me if a Nuppin' would work on it. I explained the catch cup issue and an hour later she showed me a link to a belt sander. And, yep, I was in the bathroom (not panicking).

I can't suggest curbing buying to try out new gear, not after spending something over $14K on vape gear in way less than two years. But I can say I won't buy something else to replace the Reos I use every day while all that other gear bought just collects dust. Oh I'm not entirely Reo pure... I did check into getting a couple of fancy bf wood mech's made out of my own exhibition grade woods from someone else when I couldn't get it done here. But I doubt I'll ever own any of those others with them at 2.5 years out unless I'll play a game offered to me that I will not play to get them fast. I don't mind paying the extra money (except for what it's for), but I do care that it would delay some for other folks who are already waiting on the list, and probably have been waiting for a long time. My Woodvil's are fancy enough and get it done very well... so I don't really need anyone else's bottom feeders.
