I am getting more comfortable with the REO. The feeding however seems to be...well...excessive. Really have to squonk hard and dry pull, I have a couple more brands of 510 attys on the way. I am wondering if the way I chain vape may be part of the problem.

When you say excessive....do you mean hard to draw juice to the atomizer or are you flooding?

How old is this one? Is the positive battery contact flat with no bed at the end? Which feed tube does it have? Do you have a photo of the inside you could post? I'm wondering if it doesn't need to go in for an overhaul. There are many chain vapers who own REOs...so I doubt that is the problem. My suggestion is that if you don't find a solution, contact Rob via PM or call him for some quick troubleshooting...he's really good at it. He'll tell you how to fix it if it's something that can be done at home. His phone number is on the website on the Contact Us page.

You should try an RBA on your REO. I just started to use them and I am truly enjoying the experience as a whole.

The rebuilding part would be fascinating, not to mention the pride felt by knowing that it is your build creating all that flavor, vapor and warmth.

I would think that since you like attys, knives and weapon system (cool stuff) RBA's are are the missing dimension from your vaping life. I can strongly recommend the hornet. Just got my second one. Prior to that, cartos were my heaters.

It is easy. Even I can do it! Pm me if I can assist in any way. Peace.

Aah, now I feel less psycho :) My first present to my now wife was a first axis lock from Benchmade. And to answer the subject, what should a first time Reo owner expect, it is to hang out in company of some weird internet people.

Conservatively understated.

If the feeding is excessive after taking the reducer tube out, maybe you can try putting it back in; that's its purpose, after all.

You can also try blind squonking, where you squeeze the bottle while you inhale without hitting the firing button. Once you hear and feel the air flow stop, try firing it up.

And I have to agree with the prior posters, the Reo experience is enhanced with RBA's and cartos.
