I have a vision spinner 2 and wanna upgrade to a mod type. I've looked at proVari's, vamo v5 innoken mini 134 and just really confused on what I want. I would like to have a vv/vw that can last for at least 10 hours of heavy vaping. I know a lot of people say the mvp is awesome but I just don't like the box or bulky look to it. Please give me some pros and cons of the provari 2 and the itaste 134 mini as well as the vamo v5. How long do the charges in them last and durability as well as longevity. I usually run between 3.8 and 4.3 volts at 2.0 ohm coils. Just wanna find something cool and that'll be a nice/decent upgrade from the spinner 2.

Thank you

Provari, hands down.

All of the above will work just fine, but the Provari is the best option.

The "wattage" thing is great, but on coils in the resistance range that you're using, Voltage is perfect.

ProVape is an excellent company, and their warranty / customer service is top notch. Made in the USA, super high quality...

I have a whole bunch of stuff, and use my Provari every day still. I will never, ever sell.

Mega tank with 1.5ohm a ( are more like 1.6 average) coil. Vamo (KSD) with a purple Efest 18650 3100mah batt will last me all day rise to out cold at the very least, and mostly into and sometimes through the next day. I have a set of Efest 18350's for short mode and they generally last 5 to 8 hours per. I much prefer the size in short mode, especially going out and about.

No first hand knowledge of the others. Much depends on how much you want to spend.

I also still use the spinner 2's for other flavor tanks I have and while choring around the property.

I like the povari but I just can't seem to let 200+ dollars go on a E-cig device, plus the wife would kill me.

You can get a blemish Provari for about $130.

Batteries and charger you are going to have to buy anyway (assuming you don't get an MVP) so figure another $20 for the charger and $8-10 each for batteries.

So even that $40 Vamo will be pushing $90 when you have bought everything you need.

It really depends what you are looking for. My first mod was a Vamo. They are decent, fairly durable and provide an all day device with an 18650 battery in it.

My advice would be to look around the APV forum here on ECF. It'll give you a good idea what devices are out there and what issues people are having with them.

Oh by the way, if you can visit a local B&M that might be better for you. Being able to see, touch and hold the devices before you buy will often help you make your mind up.

I'm thinking the $100 range. I want something tube style and great bang for the buck. There's so many companies out there that sell fake and call it authentic. I guess I save my pennies and go to a local vape shop. I don't have classified access on here, but I doubt people sell there used provari's.

I have that ^^^^ one as well. No complaints at at all, an excellent cheap stand by mod. It was the quickest and cheapest Vv/vw mod I could get my hands on when when my svd got the button bug. It's very lightweight mod that does just what you want.

im also pretty conscious of what I spend on my hobbies and didn't like spending on the svd to have fail after a few months. That's why I have gone the mech mod root. Very little to go wrong, no wiring, no chips so nothing that can't be fixed unlike the vv/vw mods. And if your unsure of the safety factor put a kick chip in. The choice of mods available to you becomes enormous, just about any colour shape or size.

Yep, great bang for the buck. Rugged, dependable, and I could get DAYS on one battery with a decent carto-tank!!
Still works after all these years of use and abuse... I've dropped it down the stairs at home, in the parking lot getting out of the car, knocked it off my desk... it's a little beat up, but still works just like the day I bought it.

I was in the same boat as you. I didn't want to spend the 200+ to get a nice provari. So i bought an evic, broke it, bought another evic broke it. And then i was out 200 bucks. At that point i decided that I should've spent the 200 in the first place and gotten a device that would handle a little bit of abuse and work exactly how i wanted it to.

Long story short I ended up with a provari. If you plan to vape for a while, I can highly recommend the provari. I loved my evic until experienced one of these bad boys. To be honest though, i've recently been mainly vaping my mech mod with rda's. But i always go back to the provari with a tank on top.

You might think you're saving money buying a cheaper mod now, but if you break it, you'll end up putting more money in than you would like to. All that said, do what you want, nobody else's experience is going to be exactly like yours, so maybe you'll do just fine with a cheaper mod.

I'd have to agree with the other recommendations for the Provari, and for what it's worth you can get a Blemished Satin Silver Provari for $130 (or $146.95 with the extension cap). That's what I'm planning to do, and I too wish I had just done it in the beginning.

I am not really even in the market right now but I have to admit this looks like a really good deal. If you do get it spring for the extension cap. I have had 18350 batteries and they just do not last long enough for me. Good luck.

Joyetech Evic Surpreme, have mine a few weeks now and couldn't be happier, get a couple of Panasonic 3400mah batteries to go with it and you have all day heavy vaping even at 20+ Watts
The 3400 (and 3100) mAh Panasonics aren't safe chemistry and high discharge, and therefore not a good choice for mods. The highest capacity 18650 recommended for use in mods is the Panasonic PF (2900 mAh).

As for mods themselves, my first one was an Innokin SVD and a year later it's still going strong. Many others seem to have had problems with theirs though. If going for a tube mod it might be a good idea to wait a while. The SVD 2 and Provari 3 are just around the corner. The P3 is probably going to be considerably more expensive than the P2.5 but we don't know yet.
