Hi Everyone,
Let me preface this post by saying that I just finished reading about 100 pages about Provari vs Zmax vs Vamo vs everything else. I feel overwhelmed and maybe a little snarky.. lol
Before everyone jumps on the bandwagon telling me why one APV is better than the other, I want this to be a different kind of post so i hope i will get different kinds of responses.
I absolutly love my new vaping lifestyle (for me it is much more than a hobby). I smoked for 28 years and now Ive been off ickys ( what we called analogs in our home) and for that Im truly grateful. no going back to ickys no matter what equipment I vape with.
Im strongly considering a Provari... most of the posts I have read indicate how happy folks have been with their purchase. Regarding the warranty, it simply doesnt matter to me. if the Provari is that well built, and I am terribly OCD about how I maintain my equipment, the warranty shouldnt matter. I also own 2 Hondas...and the Provari warranty comments make me remember the Honda/other car commercial. You know the one that says that car A ha s a 100,000 mile warranty and an Accord doesnt. Well, its an Accord.. it doesnt NEED a 100,000 mile warranty! if the build quality is that good, that is enough for me. I do like the point that I can send the Provari in for repairs instead of buying another APV should I need to.
Ive basically completely written off the Vamo... Ive read too many posts from too many people that have regrets or have had problems. It has an attractive price point, but that doesnt seem good enough, IMHO.
I havent researched the Zmax enough to form an opinion yet, but have read a fair amount about it and it seems about 50/50 for folks that either love it or had problems with it. Its is not serviceable and isnt all that much less than a Provari...so that in itself would shoot down the zmax for me.
I dont want to start a debate about VV vs VW devices either - I am simply too new to this to be able to make an informed decision. I have upgraded my simple 650 battery to a VV LCD Ego battery and like the fact that I get a better hit and more vapor when Im on a higher voltage. As far as my vaping style, I use Kanger T3 clearo's with either a 1.8 or 2.5 ohm coil on EGO-C batteries. Im pretty simple here - I fill it, hit the button and enjoy. I am looking forward to making my own coils and wicks for them... one to save money and two because I like to fiddle with things. This leads me to believe an RBA is going to be in my future, but right now I am not considering it at all... again, too new and want to take time to learn all I can.
More on my vaping style, I go through about 2-3 ml per day of 18mg 50/50 juice. I can..and do... vape freely at work and home.
So... now that you have read this novel (sorry its so long) and you know the devices I am considering,, you know my vaping style, and you know the equipment that I have... What is your take on WHY I should upgrade.
What will a Provari do for my vaping? Will I get better vape from the same delivery device? I know the batteries will last MUCH longer, and I am definitely looking forward to that.
Thanks in advance for all of your input!
