I have a few buddies that like the njoy cig, but i fear that most of the ppl that buy these kits will get turned off on the idea of e smoking because of the inferior products and false claims from these types of companies, njoy and smoking everywhere. They say the carts last a pack of cigarettes just to sell the kit, so ppl that smoke alot will think its a direct, hassle free replacement and its really not. It takes some getting used to, and as all of us have figured out, some $$$ just to keep our interest in these things. It's too bad that these kits are overpriced and most likely will make or break someones opinion on e-smoking right there. There are so many better products out there at half the price, but i guess like some of us have, you have to learn the hard way.

Vapin now: Totally Wicked Platinum 901 with 36mg wicked marlboro
Waiting and still waiting on: Janty Dura-c (since feb 25!!)

The Npro is not good for someone new to ecigs, but i have found it as a good backup.
Get rid of the carts and drip with this one.(don't drip and drive) Drag slow and long and you will get good taste and vapor. While my Dura has been making a tour of the US Postal system, the Npro has been solid for over forty days without one breakdown. $75 is not to bad when you do not pay for shipping and you have the long warranty.

that is true about the NPRO, 75 isnt too bad, but, im still bent on the 100+ dollars that smoking everywhere charges, i got suckered into it but i rebounded into better devices, but it did cost more $$ and experimenting to say the least. I feel bad for ppl when i see them at the mall kiosks buying these things...they most likely will smoke the e cig for 2 days and head right back to real cigs after they find out the carts last all of 12 minutes and its then 15 or more dollars for a pack of 5 from the kiosk....COME ON! thank god I found this forum, but it was only after my smoking everywhere purchase. oh well.

OK, I am new to e-cig and just received my Njoy Pro today. Can someone please tell me what I SHOULD have started with because I am seriously turned off by this fluid leaking into my mouth! *YUCK*
I wish I found this site BEFORE I ordered not one but TWO kits! UGH! Not giving up though!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you're having problems, Attecnoc. I personally hate the company NJOY, but don't let that get in your way of trying to get some satisfaction out of your first ecig buy. Eventually you may decide to get another ecig, but I'm sure there are some things you can do:

Make sure your batteries are really freshly charged. Once power starts to go, vapor is less and you're more likely to pull liquid into your mouth.

Ecigs need a short primer puff, followed by a longer gentle draw. It's really not like taking a puff on a cigarette.

Also, sometimes the liquid gets on the outside of the inner cartridge, in the area where the air/vapor flows to your mouth, so it's a good idea to make sure that's kept wiped off.

Here's a link to a thread with all sorts of helpful posts, videos and links to great threads, especially good for a new ecig user to read:

I hope this helps you some.

I wouldn't completely bash NJOY. I just recently purchased the NPro as my first e-cig. Yes, it's expensive in comparison to other starter kits BUT having big box stores sell it as well as the warranty helps new users feel comfortable about purchasing it. It has performed pretty well (I haven't had any leaky cart issues for the most part) and the vapor / throat hit has been good. Some odd battery issues but otherwise a good start.

Now the key is hopefully people realize after purchasing that the RN4081 is the same device (I think) and readily available at a much lower cost for parts and carts. Also, hopefully this draws people to these forums to learn even more about the options available. I currently have a penstyle from somewhere else on order as well as a Janty C.

NJOY is a necessary evil as gives vaping a much needed 15 minutes of fame and hopefully is used as a way to promote the community and the myriad of vaping devices available!

I started out with the Npro and must say that I'm glad I did. Has good vapor, good throat hit and has not broke down on me yet. It worked well for my starter but I am now thinking about getting a "cigar" type ecig so I can get loads of vaper. I find myself vaping on the Npro all day, going through 3 or 4 carts and just barely getting satisfied. I'll keep the Npro around as a back up. If my new one breaks down, I have the Npro to fall back on. If I run out of liquid, I can just go up the pilot and get a few carts while I'm waiting on my online order to get here.
