Maybe it's my Scottish heritage, but I can't see tossing anything but the cartridge filler stuff in that situation. I sure wouldn't try to flush it... Bad for the electronics and your plumbing.
One time I was using the toilet how men do while I was smoking an analog and drunk. You do the math. Dropping an ecig in the bowl, not that big a deal.

I do believe this thread has gone the way of the OP's ecig.
I don't believe I would've tried to flush it the rest of the way down. Not only will you have the cost of said lost ecig, add the cost of Joe Plumber. And having to explain what an ecig is and how it got in the john.

eplanet - I know Spikey in her great video says to flush well after cleaning, but, em, this was not quite what was meant
