Hoping someone can help. I'm using Ody in drip mode only and have had it for about a week. Yesterday, my Ody stopped firing so decided to build a new wick. I built three wicks that did not work (1st time that I've had problems since starting rebuilding attys). The last wick fires fine but I can feel the GG start to heat as soon as I press the button.

I tried the Ody on 2 different GGs with the same result. No damage or problem to the mods and they work perfectly with a standard lr atomizer.

What could I have done wrong? Any advice?

Its definitely shorting (they are all shorting);

Make sure you positive wire doesnt touch anything and is tucked-in under a piece of wick.

Same on 3 GGs,its definitely the Ody shorting.

Probably a short with the adapter - try another adapter those go bad quite regularly

Using Stealth Cap no adapter. Will keep playing but have had such good luck w/ iAtty and Ody - first time that something like this came up. Thanks for the tips.

Follow up question.. in Imeo's video he clips the 2nd wire rather than wrapping it under the little control ring near the connector post. I did it differently this time. How are you all wrapping the wire? Wonder if this is what's causing the short as with iAtty 1 I put both wires underneath and did not clip 1 of them short.

To ensure a perfect ground,I wrap mine half a turn under the ring...short enough so it didnt contact the positive one!
