where is the wire melting at the top near the cone or the bottom near the base???

either way for the NR wire to melt it is making contact with the cone or tank body causing a SHORT circuit.... when installing a coil try to make sure the NR wire is securely tucked under your plastics and no wires are left sticking out to make contact with the top cone or tank body... the grooves in the plastic pieces are there for the wire to help aid in keeping it away from the body of the tank like a channel or wire guide... I hope this helps and solves the issue your having but remember there is a learning curve but once you figure it out you will be a happy camper and in vape bliss...

Oh and i was wondering where to get the silver wire crimps people are talking
About. Thanks again

Ebay is a great source for Crimp Beads I recommend a 1mm crimp bead or a 1.5mm but anything else is too big you will also need a micro crimp tool... I would go to a company called Twisted Jewels they sell on ebay but also have their own website if you order from the website and spend over 20 dollars shipping is free making it cheaper than ebay... also a great source for your pure .999 silver 30gage NR wire... a 1/2oz is 95 feet of wire and at .30 cents a foot its a great deal... also note crimp beads need to be sterling silver as I dont believe they make them in .999 silver... and lastly keep in mind dead soft wire is dead soft and can be tricky to use with crimp beads but half hard is not easy to twist and you will need small pliers to work with it.... I hope that helps if you need more help feel free to PM me...
