I just recieved my v2 AFS (all mod) and I love it! I really do!

I ordered an i3 atty with the AFS when I ordered it, because that's what was in stock.

I really enjoy it at 3.7v as well. Great smooth thick vapor! But I do prefer a harsher, warm 6v vape. Even 3.7 LR atty's are just too smooth for me.

To me it seems this atty has a lower resistance then other 901's. It doesn't seem quite as low as various LR atty's I've tried.

I know Imeo likes to keep his ohms and resistance a trade secret, and I understand this. I am not asking for specific ohms, just how they behave compared to hv/standard attys.

So here's my question:

Do the i6 and i7 atty's work like hv atty's or are they close to a standard atty resistance? Or is it somewhere between?

I ask this because I really don't want to spend $15.50+shipping for an atty I won't like.....

Thank you all in advance!

I love the I7 Attys! If you like a heavy warm vape and want the most out of it, Go with the I7 atomizer. Ive been vaping with the I7's since the GGTS came out and to be honest it is very hard to go back to 3.7 or even 6V. Trust me on this.... Vaping Bliss!!!;)

Does the AFS tend to run dry with an i6 or i7 atty? High juice consumption was a worry of mine when using HV.

Not at all... It really doesnt need much to get a cloud of vapor with the I6 or I7. Thats the beauty of it, and the AFS is sealed and prevents liquid from leaking. I do prefer I6 & I7 over HV attys....

To whom it may concern,

I saw *another* vendor selling laser point 510 tips. This got me thinking (oh yes, it happens...).

Might I suggest...

A carbon laser pointer mod designed specifically for the GGTS. This would require a potentiometer allowing one to adjust the strength of the beam.

Some practical applications:
1) Pointer for Presentations (think Vaping education!)
2) Burning ants
3) Removal of unwanted hair
4) Burning holes in your current untouched stock of non-AFS atomizers.

Please Imeo, give this your full attention and effort, both scientifically, and financial.
I believe this will bring all atomizers onto a level playing field.

Please continue your on-topic discussion.

Thank you for your time.

In all seriousness, I would like to encourage any engineering types out there to work on a better atty. Seem's like with all these ingenious designs we are still at the mercy of Chinese QC which is sketchy at best.

Remember, they aren't making money over there by creating something that will last. It only makes good business sense to make sure one part of the total ecig is throwaway.

The weakest link in vaping still is the atomizer.

There are many mods out there to choose from, and the GGTS and AFS system, is revolutionary, but all in all is still at the mercy of those unreliable attys.

No atty will last forever, granted. But I am seeing many people using many mods out there all complaining of one thing; They are popping atties left and right.... after a while it gets expensive.

I had an i7 on for less than 12 hours and popped it... some of my champion atties are hitting a week tops with HV vaping. These things just can't stand the heat. And I wouldn't be surprised if quality from China goes down in the future, assuming the mods are taking repeat business away from their e-cig battery income.

I really love my GGTS and AFS and all of the work that goes into it. I think Imeo has done a wonderful job of altering existing atties to accomodate us.

AFS's of all types are moving at the speed of light, but I don't think any real progress is going to be made until we can start producing our own, more resilient atties for HV.

And Zeus forbid a ban happen... then we all have really pretty $300+ laser pointers.

just some food for thought,

I couldn't agree with you more waffle!! That is the weak link in any mod for sure. I have a pile of atties that still work but just don't put out the kin of vapor and throat hit they could or did when they were new.. I seem to get about three or four good days and then they start to decline and at about a week they are getting cloggy and get swapped out for a fresh one. I was thinking of an atty design a while back but when I actually started trying to actually build a prototype I couldn't find parts small enough. I would have to be a darn watch maker. But when the first person makes the renewable atty totally user serviceable with a little Ni-chrome wire we are in there like swimwear.
And if anyone can do this I know imeo can...

The bad thing is that I am really stuck with production of so many things now that I dont have the time to think of an atty. Thats why I said the other day that an atty is difficult to be made.
The other bad thing is that atty has small parts in there so even if I make one it will cost much because it couldnt be on a production line so I could make only a few of them.

We need a factory for atties guys:)

You can't tackle every project. But someone will. Hopefully we will see an atty resilient enough that we wouldnt have to buy so many... it will happen one day, Im sure.
