So, my iClear 30 has been acting funny here lately. First it was the leaks and the gurgling, which I found that if I don't fill it to the max that will subside. But I'm hardly getting any vapor out of it after cleaning it last night, dry hits, that's all I'm getting.

I love it, but I'm thinking this might be the only one that I buy.

Any ideas? Anyone else have these problems with the iClear 30?

I can't really comment on the failure after cleaning but I do have gurgling issues and very minor leaks,This tank doesn't live up to all the hype I've been hearing. If you compare it to the vivi nova the i clear vapes stronger but thats it,And is not as sturdy or durable as the nova.If the vivi leaks its because the head is not screwed but with the i clear I think its because the stem screws on where there is juice.

does anyone know how to "fix" the leaking?
With the evod u can screw on the head tighter but
there's no screw thing on the bottom of this.....

I'm not sure what's causing your leaking issues, but when I briefly had them on one of my four iClear 30s, it was from a defective head. Replacing it cleared those issues up. I'm not sure what you mean by "no screw thing" because the heads screw onto the base. Would you kindly elaborate?

I haven't had any leaks and I get lots of vapor but I can't seem to get rid of a nasty metallic taste. I washed it before using it the first time and cleaned it again before refilling but still get a nasty taste that I don't get from other metal drip tips.

I prefer the vivi novas over the iClear 30 and will not get another.

I haven't cleaned mine yet, do not notice any leaks at all. I never washed it before first use and noticed a few weird tasting hits until it was primed. Lots of vapor and performs quite well. Only issue is it uses a ton of juice. But you also get a good delivery of nicotine. Have only used it for a day or so, will update if problems occur.

i haven't had any of the issues mentioned with the 2 I have

i've cleaned both of them several times... with just warm water - let it dry .. fill back up .. prime with a few puffs before i kick it on and both have been fine.

(only changed the head on 1 so far)

i little leaking if I fill it too high.. but it stops after you bring down the level a little.

sucks since I'm starting to read more and more people having problems.. which i guess is bound to happen.

i wouldn't give up on them yet, try a different head to see if that fixes it?

Strange that you're having issues with flooding and dry hits. i use an iclear every day and i don't recall ever having a dry hit. what I do notice is that if i fill it up to the 3.0ml line, some juice does seep into the lower wick hole. also, i always fray my wicks and i usually buy iclear 16 coils because they are cheaper, even though they're essentially the same. ensure that the coil is securely screwed onto the base, and that you aren't missing any rubbers (one between base and coil, one on top of coil, one on tip against threads. also, i didn't like the swivel metal tip (partly because it's metal, partly because it's restrictive) and i cut down a CE4/iclear 16 tip to fit in the iclear 30. also, i enlarged the air holes on the base just a little bit (with a micro drill). I have no complaints on this clearo. coils usually last me 2 weeks or more with light juice and a week or so with dark juice. vapor production is really good. I either run mine on an itaste SVD or a k100 mech mod. both ways it works great!

I got 2 iclear 30's with my itaste svd. I unscrewed the top to fill it and the rubber o ring popped out. Same thing when I unscrewed the bottom. On both tanks. I put the rings back in. Against my better judgement, I filled one of the tanks and it immediately leaked out all the juice from the center hole. I went back to my Evolution tanks and never touched the iclear again. Too bad because I really like the swivel drip tip, but the tank is garbage.

My iClear 30 just started showing as 1.7 ohm from 2.7 hadn't been used all day then poof 1.7 on vamo too low to fire so I put it on SVD fires up but now the vape is weak, is it normal for them to crap out after 2 weeks?

2 weeks on a coil??? What kind of juice do you vape (clear or dark? sweet?)? How much do you vape? I have a fave juice that will gunk a coil after two tanks. I have others that I haven't cleaned in months. It totally depends on usage. 2 weeks is really pretty good if you do 1.5 or so tanks a day and haven't cleaned the coils yet. And if it's reading 1.7 ohms, I would guess that 1 of the coils popped or you've got a hot spot from gunk build-up. Coils are cheap. Go out and buy a bunch. One smoke=3 minutes.... One coil=2 weeks.... I think you're still winning!!!

EDIT: Do a search on cleaning coils... I did that right when I started vaping. Been about 4 months now and I've only trashed 2 coils in that time. Maintenance is key! Or, as I mentioned ^^up there^^, buy some spare coils...

Juice is 100% VG but its not an all day vape, its more of a desert type that I use maybe twice a day. I just wanted to know if it was normal because I have been having good results from the iClear 16's for the last month and expected the same from the iClear 30's.
