I've been vaping for roughly a month now and I absolutely love it, so much better than analogs. Currently I'm vaping on a joyetech eGo-T with a kanger t2 tank. Now that I feel much more comfortable with vaping I'm ready to start upgrading slowly. I'm looking for more/thicker vapor production and I've been reading that the 30s is a pretty good tank. I know that the eGo-T is a pretty low model and I need to up to something with variable voltage, but I'm just trying to take some baby steps right now.

I see here everyone seems to dig the 30s. I got one with my VTR, and personally don't care for it. I used a menthol juice, so I'm going to try a fruity one through it and see if I like it better.

It is a solid tank though. No gurgle, no leak, no dry hit, and vaped all the way empty except maybe 2 drops of liquid. The draw was somewhat tight to meas well, but not so tight it was bothersome.

If baby steps are what you want then try a Vision Spinner battery first. It's an easy to use Variable Voltage battery for your eGo.

Not sure I would recommend the iClear 30S on an Ego. It's a really bit tank for such a small ecig. Those are more for the larger mods like the MVP or Vamo.

That's a Kanger T3 Clearo on the left. That's a big clearo that would fit on an Ego. The tank on the right is the iClear 30S.

Right, that was my main concern with it being a 3ml tank on this tiny thing.

Like I said, if baby steps is what you want then start with the Spinner battery. Perhaps try some different ohm coils as well. It's a small investment but will get you familiar with variable voltages, different coils, and that's a good stepping stone into large mods later. It's a great way to learn the basics for around $30 rather than making that expensive jump into mods without knowing what you really want.

Thanks very much!

Top heavy would be a terrible issue since I work in a factory, i wouldn't want it dropping out of my shirt pocket over and over, I already have that issue with my current setup.

Top heavy is an understatement.

Here is a picture of my iClear 30S next to my Halo Triton (Ego). The iClear is 3ml and the Halo holds 2.4ml. Gives you a good idea of just how large that iCear really is.

+1 for the iTaste vv... It's not much more $$ than a spinner/twist (I got mine for $29.99), and it's really handy to have an ohm checker and VV/VW. You can learn a lot about watts/ohms/voltage and what works best for you by playing around with the settings. It's a quality device- the electronics are superior to other devices that are bigger/cost more. And the size is nice- looks great with mini tanks (evod, mini PTs, mini vivi novas) or if you need more juice capacity, larger tanks aren't as large/top heavy as they are on egos. It may be slightly more than a baby-step up, but worth it. If you decide you don't need VV/VW and you want to get into mech mods, you have a good back-up & cheap ohm checker. And if you like the VV/VW, you'll have a good idea what settings & features you like best.

As far as toppers go, I'd recommend:
Clearomizers- either the mini Protank 2 (learn to rebuild the heads with microcoil & cotton- much better than stock heads and good practice if you want to get into rebuildables) or the mini Vivi Nova Aspire (decent dual bottom coil tank, good flavor/vapor, but I have had some issues with the coil heads being DOA & the heads are not cheap)
OR the easiest, most consistent- carto tanks! Pick up a pack of Ikenvape, Smoktech, or Boge cartos, prepunched, and a 15mm IBTanked. No leaks, gurgles, dry hits, etc... check out these:

I use the iClear30 S.

It needs A LOT of power to get the best out of it.

I vape at 7-8 watts mostly. Yesterday, I had the 30 S up at 10 watts just to get it firing well.

(I think these even say VV/VW on the base).

Great clearomiser/tank, but a power hound and an evil drinker. It just doesn't let up once you find the sweet spot. (Obvious really, on 10 watts) :)

Got a Iclear 30s with 2.1 ohm coil a few days ago and put it on my Itast MVP. I can run it at 5 volts with good flavor and fantastic vapor. As for baby steps. My path made by baby steps is littered with wasted cash, junk parts and disappointments. Get a good quality setup and enjoy.

5 volts you say? Is it a 2.1ohm atomizer?

Yes, that's up into double digit watts (11 or so?)

My old clear mvp doesn't have a watts read out. This 30s hit nice and hard at 5 volts. There may be better tanks out there but this is the best one I have had so far. I am still new to the e cig tech.

If you have the power, it's a great clearomiser. No doubt. :)
