I'm having problems with the switch on my icon. When I insert a battery (AW 14500 IMR) and screw the fittings tight, the atty fires immediately and the button has no travel. All of the advice I've read regarding button issues talks about adding or removing washers, but I have an Icon 1.1 which does not have washers.
I've taken it apart. Adjusted the brass set screw in every configuration imaginable, and the problem still occurs. This problem only sprang up recently. When I got my Icon, the button traveled normally using the exact same batteries.
Anyone else experience this or have any idea how to fix it?
