Monk much? :p

I am soooo Monk in certain things and so not in others. My hubby is the King of Monk. He organizes his clothing by color, his shoes are lined up like soldiers and our kitchen drawers are arranged in such a way that he'll know if I've been in them. Oh, he's the cook of the house, BTW :)

Somebody invent a nice P.V. holder for the car! Something to put on the dash that clips the thing in place. Right now I hang it around my neck or sit it in the cupholder. But after getting it looped around the steering wheel..I don't want to do that any more. Resting it in the cupholder means I lose a cupholder!

Try this it is cheap and great for in the car or anywhere. I have them all over now near computer in the car, in the bathroom great while putting on make up, uses are endless.

LOL, I'm not the only one.

I now have a small desktop 4 drawer cabinet, a 15 drawer parts cabinet and 2 shelves with DIY stuff on, my ultrasonic cleaner, lab power supply, soldering iron and air iron. This sure has grown :).

I do need a shelf for the chargers, they are just crammed in wherever they fit. Thinking about taking them apart and mounting them in a long and thin box. Many more and I'll need a separate fuse / circuit breaker on that line :).

I also either mark the top of those plastic juice containers with either a letter and / or color besides using a label maker to label them (removable is nice).

No real specialized tools yet. Tweezers (narrow and pointly sharp!) a big upholstery needle (slide the BIG and LONG eye down the side of the poly and it lets the air out) and a couple map tacks for working the juice in.

Between DIY flavorings and 36 unflavored and restocking my 510 stuff I am just barely ahead of my old tobacco spending but at this point I am in pretty good shape for a while.

A hobby and fear of my government - yes to both.

Irishmom, have we welcomed you yet? If not WELCOME!
I put some fruit shaped stickes on the fruit flavors and colored stick on "Jewels" for the rest. I need to get off my lazy behind and paint the tops.
I know somewhere around here is a label machine. I put so much stuff in storage when mom moved in...which blue plastic tub is it in!
I got the fluval stuff today. It was $8.00 in the pet shop in town. A bit pricey but with 4 pads and the tiny bit you need, cheap in the long run.
I washed a pad and dried it to remove any cute factor chems to make it look nice in the pack. I wasn't too worried though because this is used for fish..they are waay pickier then we are about chemicals. That being said, they poop in the water, go figure.
I am vaping choco with the new material..so far so good. looks very like the original stuff but it seems to be more loosely woven then the original.

I got that Logic case from WM that is my favorite thing. It has 6 netted compartments for USB flash drives but works great for my 801 batts. I keep them in that after charging them and also to take on the road with me. I drive for a living so needed something mobile. It also holds 2 tiny 4ml glass dropper bottles with juice. I keep an extra atty in one of the slots. If you put the batts in opposite ends to each other they won't discharge each other. I zip up the 3 sides to almost being closed and then I can slide my pen in and it keeps it in one place. It's slightly longer and hangs out the end a little but it works perfectly for me. Very easy to grab and go and only cost about $5.

My Bro-in-law took a 1"X1" piece of wood and drilled holes in it the size of my carts. Now I can fill many at the same time and it holds them upright so they can soak after filling. Works great.

Mary Kay, what PV are you using?

I have the DSE901. I got some Fluval. I give up. It's no different than any other polyester material. No matter how I twist, turn, bend, fold or coax this stuff, loose fibers stick to the atty and burn. A burned polyester taste in my mouth is not making me a happy camper.

We actually went out and bought a really gorgeous inlaid humidor box to keep our gear in when at home. I also found a deep cigar box that's the perfect height for my juice bottles (we have loads ) that I'm refinishing Steampunk style.

Why should only analog users get all the pretty stuff? ;)

Still working on the right out and about organizer. Thanks for the Northface tip, Rexa....I'll be checking that out for sure!

Beth, it's the same Fluval as the pictures. All white and a 4pack. It is a bit fluffier then the original stuff but cut to the same size and not hard packed, it works just fine for me! I kind of push the stuff down a bit with the tip of the bottle as I fill so that the liquid doesn't drip out. Not problems with sticking to the coil of my 901. once washed there is no funny taste.
Siobhan, I am from Tampa, the Cigar City, so I know how beautiful the boxes can be! That's a really good idea, next time I am in Tampa, I will look for one.

The pads are rectangle, so I cut a thin strip across the bottom. Use very good scizzors.(no thicker then an original! I pulled out an original cart filling and cut to the same size. I then kind of compressed one end and put it in the cart.
Other then being a bit harder to stuff in a cart, I can't tell the originals from the fluval when vaping.

I wanted to move some liquid from one bottle to another but I didn't have one of theose itty bitty baby funnels. I used one of my cake decorating icing tips! It worked just fine.:)
Hey it turns out I already have a P.V. holder in my car! It's called an ashtray..it's clean now.

has anyone been through your junk boxes looking for gear to turn into P.V. accesories? Old eyeglass cases, old cigarette cases, eyeglass cord ends to make V.P. holders, ect. You know you have a junk drawer or box..admit it!

I have one of those itty bitty funnels!!! I don't know where it came from. I found it in a kitchen drawer. I've used it a number of times. I love it!!!:D

You are so lucky...I have no ashtray in my car and my cupholder is taken with my coffee....LOL

I had been using a hard case eyeglasses case but it's so big and bulky. I could fit my e-cig (put together), spares and liquid. It fit everything just great in my purse but it weighed me down! :) It would have been perfect if I could have glued some foam in it and cut out the spaces for my ummmm....contraband..... :D

Presenting the PLACEBO EFFECT
marysve.jpg

Here shown in red with a white painted tip (Disasembled) and in Verdigris with an green painted tip.

This is a joke..sort of. I needed a flavor delivery device. As you know the "Plan" was to quit analogs and then quit vaping in 6 months or at least use P.V.'s only as a treat. This little joke can be left in the car and used if an atty or batt goes south and you panic. If it breaks or you lose it..oh well.
Using Glycerin and a Lorann's flavor in the mouthpiece I can draw flavor if not vapor in. The body is a painted pencil! IN AN EMERGENCY>>SHARPEN THE PENCIL! 8-o
I told you guys I could do a mod if i could carve it!

I forgot to add the directions!
Cut a pencil at both ends losing the point and the eraser with metal ring.
Cut a flattened area from the mouth part end to fit the cart. You can use a kitchen knife.
I sanded the bottom end in a rounded shape to look like an E-Cig.
Fill the cart and pop it on!
Oh yeah, you can use any darn filler and liquid you like..no heat to burn the batting, no atty to clog! ;)

Cost: 1 pencil..look around you probably have one!
1 cart..I know you have one of those
a bit of no nic flavor and glycerin..rumage around in the kichen for flavor, you have v.g. or glycerin already
And some paint. About $1.50 at any Wal-mart

From Wiki:
A placebo is a sham medical intervention intended to lead the recipient to believe that the intervention may improve his/her condition. In one common placebo treatment, a patient is given an inert "sugar pill" and told that the pill may improve his/her condition. The fact that the pill is inert is withheld from the patient. The intervention may cause the patient to believe that the treatment will change his/her condition; this belief sometimes causes the patient's condition to change, a phenomenon known as the placebo effect.

I love vanilla e liquid and cannot seem to find the vanilla taste.
Today my vanilla beans came in the mail. I cut three small pieces and put it inside my vanilla e-liquid from e-smokey treats. I must say, after letting it set in my bottle all day.
This is one great tasting vanilla e-liquid. I just love it.

It has turned the light red vanilla e-liquid to a darker color. I think I will leave the vanilla beans in the bottle until sometime tomorrow. I will have to watch the beans to make sure they do not come apart in bottle. The smell of the vanilla is now stronger also.
So far the taste is improved and its one good vanilla vape.
