Hello

Just wondering why no real well known tobacco companies are not joining the e-cig business at all. They do realize whats going on.
Why you cannot buy lets say genuine "marlboro juice" or "davidoff" or gear . There must be something going on we dont know.
They all are quite. Im not expecting them to admit that e-cig is viable alternative because obviously they would lose big money but people
are swapping whether they do or not. So why not to start investing here as well as keep doing their usual business ? Dont get it....

I didn't know about the e-Swisher. Interesting. Also from that website: e-Swisher

A MANUFACTURING PROCESS YOU CAN TRUST

Our manufacturing standards are GMP and FDA compliant. This includes:

• Use of 99% pure Medical grade nicotine.
• Formulation of E-Solutions in a sterile, FDA Registered facility.
• A Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each production batch once the e-liquid is formulated.
• Cartridge filling in a sterile clean room using automated filling equipment.
• Batch number and Date of Manufacture printed on all packaging containing the cartridges.
• A manufacturing facility that ISO Certified.

Interesting.

I wasn't aware anybody actually smoked swishers to begin with. I've only ever seen them re-purposed, as it were.
Back when I was in college I would pick up a Swisher Sweet for our weekly poker game.

And I really, really loved those things.
They were yummy.

But then again, I would also pick up a Little Ceasar's pizza.
On the other hand, at least I can say that I didn't love those, they were just cheap.

So yeah, take it for what it's worth.
:)

Makes ya wonder, doesn't it?

This could be a case of big corp using the govt/courts to eliminate the competition. Look at media rights/copyright/patent law. Same thing. Different game?

A possibility.

OTOH, the government isn't in the way now even though it is "aware" of e-cigs. If it continues to be similar to food laws, shouldn't be an issue. May be more of a marketing thing than a legal thing. After all, consumer confidence would be increased.

And of course there's the industry self-regulation effort: American E-liquid Manufacturers

My concern is the continued availability of nic extract (and it's quality). The rest is easy.

I don't think it is anything more than a big commercial company bragging on its credentials...no tin hat conspiracies involved. It was certainly FDA registered and ISO certified when it was making just cigars.
