my job is consumer Help desk for a very large company. and I got to tell you it's scary how many people don't even know what I'm talking about when I say open up internet explorer, really I have to say look for the big blue E. and if I had a nickel for evey time I told somebody to turn off the pc and they turn off the monitor instead and when I say did you turn off the monitor and they say oh did you want me to turn off the brain part I'd be rich. honestly I don't know if these people are stupid or what but they're definitely pc stupid.

I was helping a co-worker set up his new printer over the phone a while back before VNC services were really in fashion. I said he was having issues getting his machine to "see" the printer. He said, "Well, I turned the monitor towards it so it shouldn't have any trouble seeing it." Thing is, he was serious!

firefox works great..ie IMO is more for novice users..

I have been M$ free for over 10 years. For me its Linux(Debian) + Chrome and Firefox
