IDK ....... 3 drops for me. vape. 3 drops. vape.....

AttyPops, you're not using your bonuts ??? :)

I've tried debridging and it's great but I had to go down to a couple of drops at a time. By leaving the bridge and wick in I can go to three drops and by putting in one bonut around the bridge, I can go to six drops with no effect on the taste.

I'll have to say though, I have a couple of mixes that are really great on a bridgeless atty, but just not enough difference to make it worthwhile for me.

That's what I found odd too. Since the wick should be highly resistant to heat. Although, I experienced with my 306's that after only a few hits. That I would get this horrible burnt flavor. It lingered even after cleaning and dry burns. Perhaps it is the juice but, after I de-wicked it then the burnt flavor was gone and it would hit perfect every time.

Until I needed to clean it again. The wicks in 306 atties seem to be a bit more brittle and less resilient to heat from my experience. I'm starting to wonder if wicks that are in various atties made from different material. I know that some are made from silica like the ego-T for example. But, I wonder if Silica was used for the wicking material for some 306's and 510's.

From everything I've heard, the wick is made of a material that does not burn.
I've seen plenty of proof that wicks absolutely do not burn, and never seen any proof that they do.

A lot of people think their wick is burnt because little pieces of black stuff flake off when they pick at it.
That is baked on gunk and it needs to be dry burned off to clean the wick.

In my opinion when you think your wick is burnt, it is probably time to do dry burns.

That has been suggested before, and is certainly possible I suppose.

And if it were true I would make sure to avoid any wicks that actually CAN burn.
But it's awfully hard to know for sure unless you actually remove the wick and try to burn it.
