I think an inexpensive RDA is definitely in my future. Since the cost with those really isn't a big deal (I was thinking an Igo style) would be in my budget when I get my next pay check. Sub ohm vaping isn't really on my radar, but I'm sure I can build a 1.3 or so coil and be pretty pleased on the MVP. Someone correct me if that's misguided thinking.

Nope that is just fine. I started with RDAs on an itaste vv 3.0 and I did well by them. My first was an IGO-L, I just kept the coils up to 1.5-1.7 ohm and all was good. I now use 28 gauge but know that it takes a bit to get hot when using a regulated device like that. Otherwise it is just fine.

My vote is for the Kayfun Lite/Kayfun Lite Plus, or a clone of that device. For me it is the single best vape in my equipment. I like dripping, the standard protank and iclear fare, various other clearos and glass devices. But in my journey my best spent money outside of some good variable voltage mod's and a Nemesis, is that Kayfun. I rotate my all day vape as the tank empties, just pop it open swap out the cotton, and roll. I vape it comfortably on my APV's with a 1.3-1.6 micro coil at about 10.5 watts and just love the flavor and vapor. Sometimes I'll build lower and pop it on the Nem, but batteries last longer on my VV/VW stuff. I've liked other things along the way, this one for that reason, that one for this, etc etc. But that Kayfun hit all the right spots for me, and so easy to fashion a micro coil and use organic cotton, matter of fact I just tonight replaced the coil I have had in it since Christmas, Didn't even need it really, just thought I could do better, and I did, much cleaner. Anyway, sorry, long winded when I get to talking about that darn thing, but thats my vote and why. Oh in case you were wondering, the APV's I run the Kayfun on....an MVP 2.0 and a Sigelei zmax v5.

If you are already comfortable with rebuilding get a kayfun 3.1 clone from FT, from the 5 i have it's the one i like the most because of the fill port and the air hole. All the other clones whistle a little bit while the 3.1 1:1 clone does not :)

Also get another MVP 2.0, i assure you 1 of the mvps will have the kayfun on it exclusively :p
