HI Slot-Tech,
There are many different opinions on attys on the mini. THe favorites seem to be the 501 and 306s. The vendors of choice seems to be Cisco and ikv atties. Most but not all prefer LRΩ atties ranging from 1.5 Ω to 2 Ω. Some people though like standard Ω as well. If you prefer tobacco type flavors the lower ohms seem to be prefered. If you like sweeter juices many prefer an atty around 2 Ω. There are other mini users that like 801 and 901s as well but they are a minority. If you do use the lower Ω atty then it is highly recommened to use IMR type batteries in the PV.

Experimentation is the key in finding what atty you like with the mini or any other PV for that matter. Hope this helps.

One of the wonderful things about owning a Reo is the great collection of people on the forum that will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and are always there to help out in any way that they can. I've been on many forums and I've never run into a forum before that is like this one. Maybe Rob puts some secret thing in all his Reos that makes everyone that uses them into nice folks if they werent before. So if you have any questions feel free to post away and the Lounge is great place to just bring up anything, either Reo related or not, for chat.

Wow, ltrainer thanks so much for this info.. I had no idea investing in such a great mod would include such great people.
Thank you all so much!
ltrainer your sig is priceless...I can't stop laughing.

Hey mlinky will the AW IC 14500 batteries work? you know the black ones with the silver lable and red band.. on RTD site you posted for the AW IMR 14500 as I have some of those AW IC's already.

Just a note of caution. The spring that the battery sits on is designed as a safety mechanism. In the event of a short, the spring will decompress, dropping the battery so it breaks contact. You don't want to compress the spring so much that you lose that margin of safety, so, if it's a tight fit, I'd stick with the IMR's. That said, I suppose I *am* a bit .... about such things, it's your choice, I just wanted you to be aware of the risk.

That's not ...., that's sensible...although I MAY be a little .... about such things, myself :)

Thanks Puffer I will deffinetly get the IMR's if thats the case I just wanted to wait and see hoping the IC will work as I have like 8 of them. But on the other hand if I pick up a few IMR's it wouldn't hurt and if the IC's worked. Thats all the more vaping time I would have. You can never have too many back ups as far as I'm concerned.

LOL, that's why so many of us have multiple REOs. The idea of being without one becomes horrifying.

Yup, and, of course, there's only one thing worse than not having your REO. Having one, but with no batteries to power it :) Think of the extra batteries as insurance against possible power outages. At least, that's my story...and why I have 15 batteries for my 3 main PV's

So now I find every vendor seems to be out of stock on the AW IMR 14500..
Help!!!
Cloud 9 vapor has them in the UK and this site called overready.com I belive their in china and I think I've heard bad things about buying from china.
Looks like I can only admire my Mini Woodvil until american vendors re-stock...:(

oveready is a US shop, a "mom and pop" store. They wrap the batteries beautifully for shipping to avoid damage.
