Hey guys,

we all know that there's tons of mods that look awesome, but is there a line of mods, or certain mods that go above and beyond when it comes to specs/performance... e.g. only the best materials, or a special function/feature.

e.g.
the Arrow Gen atty is unique along with the GP Spheroid etc.. etc.. The GG line is a bit unique because it has the drip top cap etc..

I'm looking to buy an awesome mech mod for less than $400 lets say that can be my go to mod when I want to vape mechs.

Do any mods stick out and why... I'd prefer not to have a bunch of posts that just say X mod because it's awesome, or this mod because it hits hard.... why does it hit hard... does it have better contacts, or all brass/silver etc... grounding?

Thanks guys.. looking forward to your responses...

And pictures are nice... I still do like shiny things.

Funny I was looking at a nemesis on eLiquidBar just as I read your reply. That's the mech I keep seeing clones of... that's a good thing I guess. They're cloning them because they're popular, they're popular because they're good.

so your saying buy a nemesis and keep on the lookout for a shockwave because I'm not likely to get one anytime soon.

Thanks Xianos, watching reviews on the nemesis now.

one of my favorite is the roller, I get excellent battery life from this little guy. and I usually run around .8 to 1 ohm, comes with silver contacts and I upgraded the 510 and spring to rhodium plate. and of course the super smooth button they are famous for.
sometimes its hard to pin down what it is about the way it's built to just say i like xxx and yyy about the voltage.
the nemi is pretty nice but the only one that interests me is the navel brass version.

REO grand. It's got a very special feature. The juice is contained in a concealed onboard bottle that you squeeze with your thumb to send juice to the Atomizer.

The next feature is that it's nearly indestructible - solid aluminum box.

Next feature is that there is a performance upgrade (spring and firing pin) in the works aimed squarely at VD particularly at sub ohm resistances. It is expected to be available for retrofit into existing mods in the next couple of months. VD with these upgrades was measured in the .1 - .2 v range if I recall correctly.

Regardless, many, including myself have realized significant improvements in VD with minor mods like using an automotive fuse in lieu of the spring.

Next reason is because the maker of the mod is an active participant in the REOsmods supplier forum here on ECF and the community there is outstanding.

And the final feature is because building a consistent mind blowing build on the RBAs that are used with these mods is very simple. The portability / pocketability of the device is unequalled and the vape betters or equals any other combo available.

Last week I would have said either the Paps 2.5, or the Paps Lux. GP's products are top notch, and the button is incredible. It has a standard tube threading that can accept many atties and accessories in lieu of the top cap. Downside is having to buy and switch out tubes to change battery config.

After acquiring a Paps X, it would probably be my recommendation. The addition of silver contacts and a modular design, plus the locking mechanism make it a winner in my book. Just wish it was 22mm, although the extra girth isn't so bad.

widely available, Nemesis hands down. various design configurations, silver contacts, easy to acquire.

non-existent, my personal choice would be a Shockwave. 26xxx battery, rhodium contacts, titanium, not a bottom button.

Were you trying to say you would like a Shockwave in Titanium? Shockwaves are Stainless Steel. If you can get your hands on one, and can handle the size, it is a kick ... mod. Mine will never leave my collection...

I second the Reo. It is indestructible. I get so much better a vape, that I stopped using my other mods and attys. Srsly, it is better than my KFL AND Ithaca clones, plus, it is a portable drip machine. I bring extra batteries and an extra bottle and I am all set.

I don't vape sub ohm. I am perfectly happy vaping at regular low resistance. I am unsure about its performance at those levels.

Not nearly as difficult as many portray. It just takes a bit of patience and diligence. V2.5 SS is actually in stock at Domo: https://domovaporco.com/product/gp-paps-18350-ss-edition-version-2-5/

Paps X was in stock earlier today.

Stock is released on a regular basis either direct from Vapour Art or Domo (US Retailer) The notification system at Domo works great, and the products are usually in stock for at least an hour or two.

Yeah yeah yeah. Don't smack a man with niceness when he's thinking super_X... it's distracting ya' know.

It's the convenience, and of course flavor quality of the Reo/RM2 RDA combo, which I build the coils for a non-mechanical friend (him too... .......), that's dragging me, kicking and screaming, over to Reoville.

Actually, he's probably going to gift me a bare aluminum Reo Grand for Xmas... because I build all his coils. ;-)

Not going to give up all my pretty mechs and Kayfuns though... not gonna' do it.

Isn't that the truth? They're about as relentless as the ProThingy crowd, the only difference is that I'm actually considering buying a Reo Grand/RM2 setup.
