That's the thing they used to use with blue foam and tanks back in 2011/2012 right?

Lolwut?

I've read about them, but never seen one in person. Reading the forum for over a year, I've gotten the idea that almost no one uses them anymore.

Everyone who uses any joyetech product uses either Type A or Type B atty heads.

I just rinse it out with hot water about once a week. Never had any problem with leaks.

no, the regular eGo-c leaks, not the CC, which is what I got her to solve the problem

But since the CC doesn't disassemble completely, I've found it difficult to clean. Like, rt now I use hot water with a syringe, but I can never really get all the water out after. Since those attys don't do well with dark juices, and she doesn;t like em anyway, really no need to use a solvent, but still I wish there were a better way to clean the tank.

What on earth is going on in this thread now?
And since when are people with a join date of April 2014 absolute experts in the field of vaping gear - past, present and future?

The eGo CC came out in August 2013.
see here
It uses the same atomizer heads as the eGo C. Which makes it nice to use also for longer-term vapers who still have some atomizer heads lying around from the eGo C, which was a nice change from the eGo T and came out in early 2012.

eGo C atomizer heads are by no means antiquated things that were used by the dinosaurs.
And Joyetech was one of the first companies that brought out easy-to-use starter models.

I started with an eGo T, on 4 November 2011. That model did not even have changeable atomizer heads. Yet, it was the best starter model at the time. - And I most certainly hope that none of the oh-so-knowledgeable new vapers have a problem with that :D

...

I repeat that vendors can be expected to know their merchandise.
mj01 has said this very well indeed:

I'm not sure where the disconnect is in this thread, but my experience tells me that someone owning and directly running a niche business whilst lacking intimate knowledge of the product/niche is not a good thing.
..
Let's crash check this, if I visit a wine shop, I expect the vendor to know his wines, as they specialize in wine. If I go to a tobacco shop, I expect the vendor to know his tobacco. If I go to an auto parts store, they better be able to (at the very least) put the info into the computer and get me the right part - based on what I am asking for. I don't expect that they can fix my car, as they're a parts store - but I do expect that they can give me the parts I ask for based on what I am telling them / asking them for.

So, to expect a VAPE shop to know their business and either grab the right "part" or at the very least know they don't have the right part is not unreasonable. ON TOP OF THAT, to expect a vape shop owner/vendor to know whether equipment is new or used - I don't even think that needs to be discussed. The owners should have known and for the owner to not know, that speaks mountains about his level of sense, let alone his understanding of the niche. I'd have run in the other direction after reacting with an "are you kidding me?" posture.

And I also repeat that customers cannot be expected to educate vendors.
Usually, it is the other way around. The vendor educates and advises the customer. It is called "customer service".
That is what customers pay money for, remember?

The 'Type A' came out years ago..

Funny how we went from 'Type A' to eGo-CC. Which is the 'most popular on the face of the earth' again? What, exactly, are we talking about?
dude

Type-A attys are the standard atty for Joyetech products

the eGo-CC is a new tank system Joye came out with last year, to solve the leaking problem with the regular eGo-C

both use the same atty, as do many other Joye products

this has been said countless times already

Just admit that you don't know about Joyetech products, but that regardless they are a widely used product line that a lot of people know about, to the extent that a vape ship for "newbs" or for "regular vapers" or for "anyone who isn't a modder" should know what they are.

just do it

it will feel good

LOL!

TBH I think the problem is that you still don';t know what a type-a atty is

again: it is the standard atty used in nearly every single Joye product
I do, but that has nothing to do with this anymore..

Since when does a join Date have anything to do with someone's knowledge on a subject? I do agree that vendors should know what they are selling and current tech available else ware.

But I'm not claiming to be an expert anyways..

And that is a great idea. Indeed it is. One can sound just a little .. uhm... not knowledgeable.. when one claims to be an expert in a field that one clearly does not know much about. *sweet smile*

.. which brings us back to the initial posting. :)
And which brings us back to the fact that vendors should know what they are selling. It is called "customer service". And such customer service is one of the main reasons that not everything is simply purchased online. :) Customer service is one advantage that B&M shops have. IF - and I say IF - they use it well. :)
