Haha! I was ticked when I found out they started stamping the insides! But good ol' brown paper does the trick,doesn't it !

I got a cheapie scale off eBay it works great. I usually do stamps. Sometimes you overpay a few cents but I figure gas to the PO would cost more... Plus I hate the PO!

Ask for paper bags instead of plastic at the grocery store. Not only are they better for the environment, but cut apart and turned inside out they are free postal wrapping paper.

Actually I personally wouldn't wrap them in paper, something about that bugs me...but I have recycled stamps here and there. For some reason a lot of stamps from CA never get canceled.

You are so right! I re-use all kinds of small boxes using the "inside-out grocery bag wrapper". My last PIF shipped out in a sinus-medicine box enclosed in a recycled envelope. The box kept the items safe from crushing inside the envelope during shipment.

Hi Leanne how are you doing?

I recycle everything I get as long as it is reusable also. Why create more pollution and it saves a few pennies here and there also.

I got to deal with the wicked witch today at the PO. Boy was she unhappy weighing all 12 packages. I always tell her its to make sure my scale is still accurate. If one of the other ones were on I would have dropped and ran.

She actually tried to tell me once cause my PO for my zip code is like 6 miles away and I go to this one cause its closer I couldnt mail things from there. I told her to take the packages and do her job. She is just a lazy shrew that will go postal one day and I may just be the reason LOL.

I live in a small town too, so we all have kids that go to school together, or my neighbor works at my doc office, etc etc. We HAVE to be nice to each other!

I was going to mention the recycling too. I even recycle the bubble wrap and baggies *unless you get pink from me.. that I buy at the PO.

Another thing: if you DO send priority, you can go to usps.com can order the boxes for free. You can get ANY size, and any amount you want, AND they deliver it right to your door I still have oodles of boxes in my garage from when I used to sell on fleabay. (we used to turn them inside out for mailing first class, but they caught on to us and stamp the insides now. hehe)

wow, how did you even find this thread LOL! We have a whole list of threads on our main forum, some of the most popular ones are "stickied", meaning you can always find them at the top of our forum.
