In a way I feel sorry for the people of Virginia but not really. They keep electing communists for leaders and then are suprised when they go against the good of the people. Elections have consequences and the elected politicians in Virginia are actively destroying that state. Vaping is the least of the worries.
Keep electing communists? Uh, no. This time the left snuck one past but it aint going unnoticed, that's for certain.
Virginia did not vote to have a far left group set about implimenting socialism through out the old dominion.
Mike Bloomberg flooded a few districts with tons of cash that was surgically distributed by former governor Terry Macullif (spelling?) who targeted precincts in a few largely populated areas in north Va, Norfolk and Richmond. Those districts all went red and gave a party who had not been in power for two decades a majority.
A few far leftist legislators quickly sprang into action, the governor who was in hiding after the college prank scandal was suddenly emboldened and liked bragging about his far left adgenda now having the chance to succeed.
What they did not know was that the land masses across the now $old Dominion would not sit idle and allow such drastic changes to take place without a fight.
Right now there are petitions to recall the governor with way more signatures than required. Matter of fact the minimum was reached in the first 4 days. Civil Rights groups have begun preparing for fights in the courts and some 90% of the cities and counties have voted to call themselves 2nd amendment sanctuaries.
While the news reported a few thousand attended the 2nd amendment rally on the capital, what they did not say was how many groups who normally clash all came together that day. The lion and the lamb stood side by side peaefully holding signs stating their disdain of the outrages taking place.
So yeah, for now the left runs Virginia. The so called "house" is running wild with all kinds of crazy ideas like banning fossil fuel heated homes in 10 years or single family only subdivisions, or calling a 6 shot 22 caliber revolver pistol an assualt weapon. The Senate on the other hand is going about things a lot more rationally and much of the craziest of the crazy is not making it out of commitee.
Tens of thousands of voters have legislators phones ringing constantly and emails flooding their inboxes shouting the phrase on the state flag "syc semper tyranus".
Oh and that day of the 2nd amendment rally there were 22,000 people inside the fence put in place by the governor who declared marshall law on the capital city for 3 days and had a corral fencing assembled. But outside the fence there was close to 100,000 people from as far away as Australlia. There was only one arrest where a lady wearing a face cover refused to remove it. Today it was announced that the charge was dropped since it was proven she was only trying to keep her face warm in the frigid conditions that day.
Oh, and there was one "vape" protestor there. But he was protesting to make vaping weed oil legal in the $old Dominion.
