My Igo-s came in yesterday so I couldn't wait to fiddle with it. I built the same set-up I use in my Igo-l which is a twisted 32g kanthal coil with 8 wraps, and non oxidized 400 ss mesh. I got 1.3 ohms with this set-up. It was a little harder to work with because of how small it is, but the holes in the posts and different height of the posts are very nice. Overall it wasn't a lot harder to get my coil exactly how I like it. Here's what my coil looks like:

I really like how it vapes. Flavor and vapor production is identical to my Igo-l, but there's a tad bit more throat hit. The biggest difference I see is how much warmer the vapor is. But I guess that should be expected in a smaller unit. And just like my Igo-l this unit vapes every last drop when using a straight wick. I've only had it for a day, but so far I like it more than my Igo-l because of how much smaller it is. It still holds a good amount of juice too. The most I've put in so far is 10 drops and I didn't have any leaks. I imagine you could get a couple more drops in there, but I didn't feel like getting juice everywhere today. This is going to be my out and about/work atty. Plus it looks t*ts on my ss Vamo in the shorty mode.

I already drilled out the air hole so I can't take a pic of the original. But the original hole was just a little bit bigger than the one on the Igo-l, almost imperceptibly bigger. I forgot to mention that the cap isn't as tight as the newer L's. Both my L's are bank vault tight. Too tight in my opinion. But the S is just a teenie bit too loose. If I use a really snug fitting drip tip like my Cherry vape ming sometimes the cap comes off with it. I'm gonna fiddle with some different o-rings and see if I can tighten it up a little.

I bought one a week ago, and got it on Thursday. First RDA...I was suprised to see how SMALL this thing is, but it works great! I have an old un-ox 500 mesh sitting in there all jumbled up with a 1.6ohm coil and it vapes spectacularly.

I still want to experiment on mesh setups though, why do you use just a small straight roll of your mesh instead of a U or J shaped one? Also, is one end of your mesh touching the bottom to soak up what collects at the base of the unit?

I got it from Vapor Bank for $13, but it looks like they raised the price on it within the last couple days. Kidney Puncher sells it too. I couldn't find anyone else selling them.

I tried the u and j shaped wicks and they just didn't wick well for me. The straight wick is simple and wicks fantasticly. And yes, the end of the wick is touching the edge of the well to soak up every last drop. The one thing I've noticed as far as wicking, with these I have to hold it a bit more perpendicular compared to the L. With the L it doesn't matter what angle I hold it at, just as long as I have the wick facing down I'm good to go.

I really like this setup. In the close it seems as though your coils aren't really touching the mesh. Are you getting hot coils ? Imagine since its a dripper and not a tank the coils will get hot anyway when it's dry and you'll get that metallic taste like a regular atty ? I would like to try that with a 2.5 mm cotton or yarn setup except have longer strands laid out on the bottom of it to soak up all the liquid. I wonder If that would work wel

It just looks like that because it's a twisted kanthal coil. It's just loose enough that I can slide the wick in and out easily.

I absolutely love my IGO-S, I wrapped a 4/3 coil of 30awg Kanhal around 3 loops of silica wick. It ohms out to 1.1 and vapes like a little monster! I can't get over how well it performs. I have been switching between this & my IGO-L for about 2 weeks and my gennies are starting to get jealous.

I need to snag another before the prices go up again!

i may have to talk with the rep i ordered my L's from and pick up some of these if they're that good. Im an IGO L .......these scared me because of how small they are, but if they keep getting good reviews...another 20 "sampler" (lol) order it shall be. some of the pictures i've seen shows the insulator on the positive post VERY glose to the hole in the positive post, does anyone have any pics of the posts without a wick/coil setup on them?

Can I secure the wire the same as an Igo-L, meaning do the screws tighten down to the posts?

Has anyone had any issues with the center post insulator melting?
If you want to secure the wire like that you can. It also has holes in the posts. I angle my wicks so the shorter wire goes in the hole and the taller end I wrap around the screw.

Are you using a ss wick, and if so is it touching the insulation material? Maybe the wick is getting hot enough to melt that material.

Wanted to know before making a purchase.

I saw the few available pictures, but they never really showed a close up of the screws tighten to the post with wire secured.

The insulator seems close to the hole on the center post, which is what I'm concerned with. Appears they may have used the same insulator mold from the Igo L causing it to extend further from the base.

Does the insulator sit higher on the post compared to the Igo L?

Does the smaller size produce a noticeable difference in vape temp?

I set my new IGO-S up today with 32g wire at 2.6 ohms (my IGO-L is my LR atty) and stuck it on my Ego-V... this thing hits great! I was very surprised not only by the vape quality, but it was also much easier to set up than I figured it would be, being so small.

I love this little atty!

(far left of course)
