I set my new IGO-S up today with 32g wire at 2.6 ohms (my IGO-L is my LR atty) and stuck it on my Ego-V... this thing hits great! I was very surprised not only by the vape quality, but it was also much easier to set up than I figured it would be, being so small.

I love this little atty!

Is that the Igo-L to the right of the Igo-s?

Yes, that's the Igo-L on top of a SmokTech Natural. My new favorite vape!

How many drops do the Igo-L and Igo-S hold?

I can get at least 25 drops in my L with a large cotton wick, and about 10 or more in my S. Those numbers are with DRY wicks, for the first saturation.

Wanted to know before making a purchase.

I saw the few available pictures, but they never really showed a close up of the screws tighten to the post with wire secured.

The insulator seems close to the hole on the center post, which is what I'm concerned with. Appears they may have used the same insulator mold from the Igo L causing it to extend further from the base.

Does the insulator sit higher on the post compared to the Igo L?

Does the smaller size produce a noticeable difference in vape temp?
I just checked and the insulator is considerably smaller than the L version so they didn't re-use the mold.

How many drops do the Igo-L and Igo-S hold?
I use a ss wick so I'll have less capacity before leaking, but on the L on a dry wick I'll get 17-18 drops before leaking but I usually top off with 10-12 drops when wet. With the S I'll do 8-9 drops dry and 5 to top off. Keep in mind that all my atties have been drilled out too.

Clouds of vapor sells the igo s2. Check for coupon I forget what it was...but made it down to $20.50 -ish delivered with wick and wire to get you started. Hope people keep posting here with wraps

EmpireMods has them in stock for $13.99. Picked it up along with the Smoktech RDA for $8.99.

Started using my IGO-S yesterday and love it. Used the braided silica from RTD for the first time and I'm now a fan of that too. Used 30 gauge kanthal (yet another first) instead of the 32 I had been using. 4 wraps was 1.1 ohm, barely too low for my VAMO so using on a Twist cranked all the way down. Will have to make an extra wrap next time.

Either one or a combination of these 3 new things is making for about the best flavor experience I've had with RBAs. The build was quick and easy. I love that it's so small, great for when switching juices often. I'm happy with the draw as is so no modding for me. The cap is maybe just a tad looser than I would like, but barely enough to comment. I got the Smoktech RDA and IGO-S at the same time and the size difference is pretty funny. They are both vast improvements over my first RBA.

Still loving my Igo-S, although I have one complaint. The top cap is WAY too loose. I have only used this thing a handful of times, (aka, it's nearly brand new) but the top cap comes off WAY too easily.

Has anyone fitted different O-rings to fix this?

Edit: my Igo-L cap is just perfect. Nice and firm, will support the weight of my PV if I'm just holding it by the cap. Why can't my S cap be so nice?

Did you just open up the existing holes? I haven't tried my "S" yet, but my "L" absolutely needs more air flow. I've got a 1/16" cobalt bit that I used to open up my A-7. The A-7 was a beast to drill through... How hard is it to drill through the Igos?

Easy fix... Remove the o-rings. Wrap about 4-5 rotations of dental floss in the o-ring slots. Then re-install o-rings. This will tighten it up.

Ya I just drilled out the existing hole. I drill everything out to 5/64". That's perfect for me. The S wasn't as hard to drill out as the L. Don't forget to file down the burr you'll end up with on the inside of the cap. If you don't get rid of that burr your cap won't sit flush.

I've had the S for a while and tried a bunch of different set-ups. With slr set-ups this little atty kicks juice up into my mouth like crazy. So I'm gonna have to save this one for ohms above 1.2. Which is sad because I wanted to use this for out and about with my Natural.

Yea that was mine - that's a 400 may ego mini with a thread cone to cover the threads
Anyway the best is really up to you - and what you like

For me I always liked silica over cotton or yarn - first due to taste and second due to being able to dry burn to test coils - when using cotton you have to soak the wick to do a burn and you really can't check for hot spots bc hot spots can't be tested on a wet wick

Taste I'd say 400 mesh wick - 30 gauge kanthal for 1.4 ohms on 4 wraps

Then silica with 30 gauge or 32 gauge for 1.3-1.7 ohm

But again that's just my IMO
