I see a lot of IGO-L info I just got a IGO-W and would like to see some setups. I ordered a dual cap version from Triangle vape. One cap with a drilled out 1.2mm hole and a second cap with two 1.2 mm holes. Right now my set up is 4-3 wrap 28awg measured out to .8 ohms. I used the wood screw method to make the coil. It vapes like a champ I didn't use the slots that it came with I felt like it made the coil set to low in the well in a puddle of unicorn Blood from fuzion. I would like to see what others are doing with this.

I have the igo w as well and it is nice. Currently using 3mm silica and 28awg and it hits goods. Waiting on the ekowool to come in so I can see what all the fuss is about. I had to drill out my air hole 1/16 because the initial TH was pretty harsh. After the mod it hit like a freight train. As for wrapping the coil, I get better results by wrapping free hand. When I used the m5 screw method or 1/16 (i think), the coils are symmetrical, but I always have a problem with it.

how much wick are you using in it. Interesting in seeing setups because of the three post is a really tight space for wick. I have silica thanks to Triangle vape because they shipped it without the dual cap they mailed it with 3 silica wicks 3 different sizes but I don't like the taste so I have been using organic cotton balls.

What is the "wood screw method" you refer to? Can you describe or show pictures of how you do it?

Thank you that helps a lot. 13 wraps each wow are you wrapping micro coils around a drill bit? Also how much cotton are you using just enough to fit in each coil side of the well?

This is the video I followed. I don't know what size I used I just found a few laying around and eye balled the size. I don't really think it mattes to much because the wraps are even and close together from the screw threading. Then I tear a piece of organic cotton ball and thread it through. I have cotton wick and silica but so far I like the cotton balls the best.

@VMxfanboy I was hoping it was a little bigger as far as the well of the unit. I just order three from fast tech Nimbus 2 clone, IGO-L, and version 5.

the v5 is the better of the clones. the igo l is alright . obviously they dont have the durability and quality of the real Nimbus. but they are great performers especially for the price. just make sure you rinse out the clones before use. and the clones only come with one air hole which is really really small. i drilled my v5 out to 5/64" on each side. the nice part about the v5 is its really thin SS top cap so its "easier" to drill out than the real nimbus. but the igo W is a solid unit i believe the drip well is smaller than the real Nimbus but similar to the v5.

4/3 wrap (I think) 30g Kanthal with 3mm ekowool. My top has dual 1.8mm air holes. 3mm ekowool is a little big, probably drop down to 2 or 1 next. Hits like a champ and ekowool wicks awesome even though the top cap bends it up.

are you wrapping the excess wick around the post into the other side of the well or folding it over/under the coil. My biggest problem now is how much wick is to much or to little. I see some people feed the wick all the way through like you did and wrap around. Then I see others cut of the section that is closes to the wall on the wicks side and only leaving wick hanging from the coil to the well.

I wrap my coil directly on the wick. I bend the excess wick up to be able to get the top cap on. I would prefer to wrap it around the post so it lay flat, but the 3mm is just too big. It still works though. When I drip, I drip on to the ends first and I can actually see it wick down to the coil. I don't trim the because I feel like it holds more juice and I don't have to drip as often. While it bends up, it still touches the bottom well and wicks up any excess. When it's time to drip again, there is never any excess juice at the bottom of the well. Now, the way I wrap may explain why I can't seem to wrap anything lower than 1.0 ohms, which is what that coil is.

Yep. I'm a fan of the micro coils. ID is 1/16th in. As for wicks, I unroll a cotton ball and cut a 1/4 in x 1 in strip from it. They usually end up being a 1/4 in thick unrolled anyway. So 1/4 x 1/4 x 1 in and roll that until it just fits through the bore of the coil. After juicing I'll let it sit for 10 minutes then vape away.IMG_20130714_112650_510.jpg

Yep, the IGO-W is definitely a great atty, imo..

26g 12 wraps, 1/16"id, .35ohm, air holes drilled to 1/16", 1/32" Nextel wicks

Insane coils any tips on getting perfect micro coils like that? I have the nextel on order from kidney puncher for my AGA-t and RSST got to give them a try on this.

Thanks guys :)

I got the Nextel from BigTex

These coils are actually really easy to make, with 26g. They work so well for me I'm thinking I'll probably make a quick video to show how I do mine.

Basically I just wrap it up on a 1/16" drill bit. I wrap tight, almost like I'm trying to overlap them. I also wrap several more wraps than I actually want then I grip one leg at a time and pull the bit straight away from the pliers, slowly unwrapping coils until I'm left with the ones I want, straighten the legs, then in the atty it goes :D

How well does that nextel wick and taste compared to cotton balls or ekowool?
